La Borde Haute on täydellinen paikka tutustua kauniiseen lounaaseen Ranskaan. Hotelli sijaitsee kylän juurella VERTEUIL D'AGENAIS sen hiljattain kunnostetulla Chateau Des Vallonsilla, ja se on sisustettu tyylikkäästi tarjoamalla vieraalle 2 kahden hengen makuuhuonetta, yhden hengen makuuhuone ja kaksi kylpyhuonetta. Täysin varustettu keittiö, ruokasali ja aula, satelliitti-tv ja wifi. Talo on ilmastoitu kaikkialla, ja siinä on myös pieni parveke varhain aamukahvia varten! Sijaitsee omassa turvallisessa 4000m2 puistossa, jossa on paljon kypsää mänty- ja tammipuuta, jotka tarjoavat erittäin tervetulleita varjossa kuumina kesäpäivinä. Kiinteistöllä on myös oma 20000 m2: n harjoitusgolfkenttä, jossa on vihreä väylä ja bunkkeri. Täydellinen kaiken ikäisille ja taitotasolle. Kaikki golfvarusteet toimitetaan nautinnoksi. Aamiaisen golfin jälkeen voit rentoutua omalla uima-altaalla, jossa on oma aurinkoenergialla toimiva suihku, wc ja kesäkeittiö BBQ: lla. Polkupyöriä on saatavana myös, jos haluat tutustua maaseutuun pyörällä.

Lovely stay in a charming property

Just returned from just over a week in Kim’s beautiful property with my wife and young family and we had the best time. The house is really charming and Kim and Russ have thought of absolutely everything. Kim was here to greet us and had provided a wonderful hamper complete with little treats for the kids - that made their day after a long drive!The highlights are certainly the spacious grounds and incredible heated private pool along with your own driving range which kids and adults absolutely loved! The feeling of space and privacy made the break really feel like getting away from it all. Kim was so good with the comms and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and shared some great tips on the local area. It’s great to have her and Russ next door to take care of anything that’s needed (not much) but at no point did it feel intrusive or impact on our privacy. A beautiful property and a lovely break - thanks for everything Kim and Russ.

Excellent Family Stay!

Kim made our booking very easy and took the time to check in with us prior to and during our stay. Any problems were resolved quickly and we couldn’t have asked for more. The property provided us with hours of fun. The pool was perfect and the golf course was an added bonus. There was also many extra facilities, such as table tennis, boules, archery to keep our teens busy. The location of the gite allowed us to visit local lakes, caves and beautiful towns (including the night market at Monflanquin and Eymet). We really have had a wonderful stay!! Thank you Kim and Russ

Relaxing place

Great property that has everything you need to relax and chill for two weeks, bonus features are the outside pool kitchen, driving range and large enclosed garden for those of you with pets. Kim the owner was great, she lives next door if you have any issues but is always out of sight.

Gîte au top

Tres bon sejour passé dans ce gîte. Tout était parfait l'hôte Kim a été adorable et a tout fait pour notre confort. Le gite est bien situé nous avons pu visiter le Lot-et-Garonne. La piscine est topissime et le golf est un vrai régal. Nous avons passés 10 jours au calme et meme notre chien s'est régalé avec cet rspace de 4000m2. Nous reviendrons prochainement.

Luxery @ the Lot

What a lovely house Kim and Russel have in the Lot. They live next door, so if there is any problem (none!), any question (little) or any complain (none!), you can reach them anytime. The house has everthing you want (need) for a great holiday. Swimmingpool, large secluded garden and private driving range all outside. The interior gives you three lovely bedrooms with very good beds (outstanding), two bathrooms, a kitchen with dishwasher and oven and above all, air conditioning! We've had a great week in the Lot. Geweldige plek!

Mooi huis in een geweldige omgeving. Zeer gastvrije ontvangst met een mand vol levensmiddelen. We hebben erg genoten van het verwarmde zwembad, de buitenkeuken en zeker de eigen golfbaan. De host Kim was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

A gem found in the Lot et Garonne

Kim and Russ met us on arrival to show us around the property. They left a welcome hamper with some essentials (bread, milk eggs etc) but there was coffee, tea and many other things there which helped us on our first day and we received a delivery of freshly picked potatoes during our stay. The house was on one level with 3 bedrooms, a living room, dining area, kitchen with all you need for your stay, two toilets and two showers, one bath. All we maintained really well and the whole place was homely and clean. The garden was a lovely space to sit out in with amazing views of surrounding fields. You can listen to the cow bells in the evening from the patio. The pool was at the bottom of the garden with many inflatable toys to choose from. The boys particularly enjoyed playing pool volleyball! There is a golf putting area to use too with clubs and balls to use as needed. Kim lives in the house next door (separated by a high hedge so both properties remain private) which was very handy if we had any questions but at the same time non-intrusive. Both owners were very approachable and helpful to us during our stay. I would have no hesitation in recommending this to all my friends and family. It is a fantastic place to stay, great value for money and a perfect size for our family of 5. Many thanks to Kim and Russ for their hospitality and kindness.

more amazing than we could have dreamed!

How lucky were we to have found this gem!! After we gave the new owners a right scare by making an instant booking overnight, they still had the place more than ready upon our arrival! Kim and Russ were beyond perfect hosts. We received the most warm welcome that included a well-stocked basket of provisions so that we (tired parents after a long car ride) didn't have to travel to the grocery store until the following day, fresh water and kibble for our dog, and even a small toy for our baby!! It was also a delight to find a wine rack stocked with options for purchase ;) After we had the chance to get settled, we actually spent the rest of the evening getting to know our lovely hosts, as they live next door. We honestly felt like long-lost friends and by the end of the evening even like family. It is truly evident that taking care of people is Kim's passion and it definitely shows in her hospitality. She also takes pride in ensuring the cleanliness of the property and safety of her guests, especially during this challenging era of the Covid-19 virus. The property itself is breathtaking - SO much space and views of the countryside as far as the eye can see. Our dog was in heaven running free (and maybe even chasing the neighbor cows along the fence once or twice haha). The pool is an absolute oasis - and how nice it was that the owners opened it up for us and ensured it was clean every morning. It is heated so enjoyable any time of day (or night!) - we even were leant a "lie low" (aka pool float) to lounge on ;) We made excellent use of the outdoor kitchen - the home is beyond stocked with anything you need for meal service. The home itself is meticulously decorated (the baby thoroughly enjoyed himself looking at everything). Top-notch appliances and we were extra grateful for use of the air-conditioning, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The master bed was SO comfortable and Kim also had the most beautiful crib ready for our babe! As our stay was rather short, we didn't have a chance to appreciate the golf, but anyone that is a fan is in for a real treat! Seriously where else can you find a rental and hosts like this?! We only wish we had more time to spend here...but we would (and plan to) visit again in a heartbeat!!

Loved our stay, didn't want to leave

The property was well equipped, beds were really comfortable. The pool was a big hit with kids & grandparents alike. We made good use of the outdoor kitchen & BBQ. The gardens were amazing, so much space to walk, run, cycle & of course have a go at golf. Loved the views in every direction. Maurice was very friendly & welcoming, we could not fault him. He was on hand next door if we needed him. Equally he left us to our own devices which suited us. He entertained us all at his property one evening & his cocktails & curry were 1st class! My 7 year old must have said a dozen times - it was the best curry ever! There were lots of sad faces on the day we had to check out.

Très agréable séjour en famille et avec des amis. Maison et jardin conformes au descriptif. Endroit très calme avec un très grand jardin et un terrain de golf très bien entretenu qui a enchanté les adultes comme les enfants. Petit bémol : la piscine et la cuisine d été sont à 50 m de la maison.

Great place for a family vacation and a lovely host

We rented the property for two weeks and it's safe to say we had a great time. We lived outdoors most of the time and had our dinners at the pool. The pool house is well equipped and the BBQ was used very frequently. Maurice, the host and owner was very helpful and although he stayed at the nearby village was always at hand to give us advise or tips. We can very much recommend a stay at this place and we already miss the great views and the refreshing dives in the pool!

Dogs heaven in beautiful quiet surroundings.

We absolutely loved the place, we where 6 people and 2 dogs. The dogs where in heaven playing in the huge fenced garden, and the kids where loving the pool area. The service from Maurice was at all times perfect, quick answers and really friendly attitude made us feel very welcome. Maurice was also very helpful with markets and especially the Tuesday night markets for local farmers in Laparade is well worth the small drive. Also the backyard driving range was a fun supplement to the pool and park used some fun hours... The only small downside was the air conditioning, it was not powerful enough during the massive heatwave to cool all three bedrooms. Overall a really great stay and a big thank you to Maurice for lending us his wonderful house.

Fabulous property and owner, great location, highly recommend for a chilled, relaxing holiday.

Due to a faulty plane we were around three hours late arriving so the shops were closed. This was not a problem however as I sent a text to the owner, Maurice, to inform him we were held up and he very kindly did a shop for us and stocked up with milk, bread, ham, croissants, tomatoes, fruit, eggs, beer and wine so our holiday could truly begin on arrival. The property has everything you need and more for a home-from-home getaway. It is very clean, the beds are extremely comfortable and the outside areas don't disappoint either. The pool is lovely and the added bonus of the summer kitchen, complete with kettle, fridge, BBQ, cutlery and crockery means you can kick back and stay there all day without having to go into the house - fabulous! Maurice, the owner, is an absolute star - nothing is too much trouble. He is respectful of your privacy and extremely helpful if you need anything. We asked about rail travel to Bordeaux and he went to the local railway station for us and found out all the details - prices, times etc. We were invited to his home one evening where he cooked a fabulous meal of roast lamb and we laughed and chatted with him until late into the night. A wonderful host who genuinely loves what he does and cares that his guests have the best time on their holidays. We could not fault this property, the owner or the location and if you are looking for a complete chill-out then this is the holiday for you.

Villa très bien équipée surplombant une vue magnifique

Quand vous arrivez dans cette villa, vous avez l'impression d'être chez vous. Rien ne manque, vous avez tout à disposition, du barbecue au vélos, avec un practise de golf. Cette maison est super équipée, pas besoin d'amener quoique ce soit. Un petit plus, le propriétaire Maurice, une personne adorable et tellement serviable. Profitez de quelques jours dans cette belle maison, vous passerez de belles soirées devant ce beau jardin, avec une belle piscine. Laurent et Corinne

Everything you need for a great holiday in France

A brilliant place to stay in a wonderful area of France. The house has everything you need, excellently equipped, well furnished and decorated with good Wifi and internet facility. Beautiful and fully secured gardens with the best heated pool we've had in our stays in France. The property really benefits from the poolside kitchen. Supermarkets 10min drive from the property with lots of small villages around. The owner Maurice, could not have been more helpful, welcoming and friendly. A true gentleman - You must ensure you take the time to share a glass or two of wine with him! We look forward to staying here again and seeing Maurice again next year! Don't hesitate, book now!

Peace, relaxation and conviviality

This is a great house, artfully decorated and with pretty much everything you need. The heated pool was most welcome as was the a/c in the house. Loved having the sonos system too, nice touch. Enjoyed the poolside kitchen with gas BBQ and fridge etc. plus the sun-loungers were really comfortable. All well thought through. Loved the area, so beautiful. The location of the house is quiet and peaceful and yet close to amenities. The highlight is Maurice; I was on my own the first three days and my host could not have been better company, a nicer man you could not wish to meet. (We will get to that restaurant one day!).
