”The property was over priced for what it is , I had called the hotel to ask about adjusting dates due to a family emergency and the front desk person stated she would contact the manager and get back to me but I never heard anything and no mention at check in either ……. The hotel is okay but I would expect better at the rate they charge , they did however give a water bottle at check in but I’d preferred they keep the gift and charge appropriately………”

”The Latch Inn is a beautiful property that is well worth a visit. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Free parking was a bonus. The building is old so there are some idiosyncrasies associate with that but the room was lovely and spacious.”

”A lovely B&B close to everything in Sidney. A purpose built B&B, with very quiet and comfortable rooms. A continental breakfast is delivered to your room, as often guests are heading to the ferry or airport. Worked perfectly for us. Room was very comfortable with our own heat control, fireplace, jetted tub and shower, and comfortable bed and linens. Great safe parking in the back of the inn. Highly recommend. ”

”Spacious and comfortable”

”Hi, We spent only one night here and I wish we had more time.Karen is a wonderful person. I found her super kind and nice. Her place is clean, beautiful and tranquil and there you will find whatever you need to have a great vacation in Victoria. She also made us a special breakfast which was super delicious and tasty. ”Oh boy...I greatly dislike writing negative reviews. While Chemainus is adorable, the location is fantastic and the exterior is a dream...this aint it. Mouldy drapes, a number of amenities were broken (electric fireplace, mouldy fridge), no wifi, questionably clean bedsheets. And (I have photos as proof) a white substance residue left on the counter next to the bed. I will say that the indoor jet tub was amazing! I swear I heard a cough below us at one point and noticed a little door that looked...
