”This small hotel is just 1k off the Camino trial, Martin the owner will come and pick you up in his van at a time to suit you . I rang him when I got to Torres del Rio and he was with me in 5minutes. He took me back for a Pilgrims meal but will cook for you if you want. At Breakfast which he cooked and served we had the most amazing coffee. I would throughly recommend this traditional small hotel.”

”The villa was just as described, very comfortable with a fabulous outdoor area and lovely yard. The village was charming with a great little restaurant called "Larri's", great food and reasonably priced. The area is stunning with gorgeous old villages and stunning vineyards all within an easy drive. Would certainly recommend. Miguel was great and very responsive, Thank you for a great stay!”

So I did the same again this year and had the benefit of a much larger room than last year with a desk to work at. The rooms are spacious, loads of power points and quiet. ”Our goal was to get a place near the hot springs so we could hike and enjoy nature. Bringing food to this spot is a must, since there aren’t many super markets and restaurants in the little town of Herce. The number to telepizza, given by the host, saved us one night for dinner. The road to the hike is right down the street and it takes about an hour or two depending on how much you stop to take in the amazing views. ”It is NOT in Los Arco's. You cannot walk the 2 miles because it is on the highway and is illegal and dangerous. No one speaks English. They claim to have a free shuttle service to town, they do not. They lied about the free taxi. They got the times wrong about what they said was a free shuttle/ taxi. Kept everyone waiting in reception for 45 minutes for the service to town on the morning.
