  • Escape for the weekend to this serene, beautifully appointed 3-bedroom, 2-bath retreat just seconds from the shores of Sandusky Bay. Direct fishing access is available through the local bar at the end of the street for a small fee ($5). The property can accommodate up to 4 trucks with fishing boats. Thoughtfully designed and fully furnished, this spacious home comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests—perfect for family getaways, friend reunions, or a relaxing retreat.

    Unwind under the stars in the new 6-person hot tub, gather around the outdoor fire ring, or cozy up by one of two fireplaces—a gas fireplace in the sun-drenched sunroom and a classic wood-burning fireplace in the living room. (Firewood is provided free of charge for your convenience.) For entertainment, enjoy an Xbox with a collection of games, making downtime just as fun as your adventures out and about.

    Location is everything, and this home delivers. You’re within 15 minutes of Cedar Point, Cedar Point Sports Force Park, and the Port Clinton ferries to Kelleys Island, Put-in-Bay, and Middle Bass Island. A local tavern sits just a block away, and a nearby market is only five miles down the road—close enough for convenience, far enough for peace and quiet.

Lots of room for a large group. We all even had our own recliners. The fridge had a fun white board built into it and we enjoyed leaving each other messages

They responded quickly to any questions and provided everything we needed and more. The host was very informative, understanding, and made the entire stay easy and enjoyable. The property was spacious, well-maintained, and offered great amenities, including a relaxing hot tub. The neighborhood was friendly. On top of all that, the price was excellent for what was offered.

Our party of 5 greatly enjoyed our stay. The house was roomy enough to accommodate us and has two comfortable lounging areas (the reclining, lighted chairs were a favorite of the 11 year old in our group). The hot tub was an awesome perk, especially after being in Cedar Park all day. We walked to the Rum Runner Cove and had delicious burgers. The house was clean and looks just like it does in the pictures. Preston was also very responsive and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend and we would stay again.

The Rainbow House is in an excellent location for exploring the shores and all that this area has to offer!We enjoyed this as our "home base" for our trip to Cedar Point. The house had everything we needed and served as a great spot to catch up, wind down, and enjoy our friends trip. The host was quick to respond and offered excellent communication, in general! There is a small bar about a 2-minute walk from the back door that has excellent sunset views right on the water.

Just a short walk across the street there is a cute little restaurant and dock area where there is a beautiful view of the sunset over the water. You can see the water from the front bedroom!We only stayed 2 nights so we didn't get to fully utilize everything, but we had plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen was stocked with some basic things that were helpful to have, like some Saran wrap and baggies and plenty of extra supplies. We all appreciated the extra blankets to make things more cozy. We pulled out a few of the board games and enjoyed some relaxing evenings. The digital fridge was a hit. We didn't have any problem and we had a great stay.

This owner knows how to make their guests comfortable! We had so many unexpected extras. The living room had multiple recliners, so all five of us could lay back while watching TV. The showers had complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The kitchen was a joy to cook meals in. The kids loved the soda in the frig and popcorn in the cabinet. The first night in we took a long family walk around the neighborhood. It was absolutely beautiful and felt very safe. Thank you for helping our vacation go so smoothly! Hope to come back some day.

The place was very nice and close to all the fun places in Sandusky. We enjoyed the hot tub and the host was great with communication. Theres also a bar / restaurant within walking distance from the place. We had a great time here! Thanks for having us!

This is our second stay and we absolutely love ths property! The home is spacious, clean, comfy. The neighborhood is very charming, with both beachy and rural vibes. We can't wait to come back next year!

Had a wonderful stay. We had our Xmas trip with our adult children. We loved everything about this home. Loved that there was a Xmas tree up. Preston was absolutely amazing with any concerns we had. Loved that he had snacks ready on the table. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

Very nice house in a nice quiet area but still close to Sandusky. We enjoyed the hot tub, and other amenities such as Xbox and board games. Would definitely recommend, it was so much better for our family than staying in separate hotel rooms.

House was great, good location about 20 mins from everything we wanted to do, house was stocked exeptional well. Would definitely stay again. One bedroom was kind of small but hey we were just sleeping there so it served its purpose.
