”Very historic hotel. Not a lot of activity going on around town. The biggest draw back is the rooms have no air conditioning and the windows did not open. Our room was 76 degrees when we woke up. I probably would not stay here again. Should have booked a hotel in Cripple Creek.”

”The only thing I didn’t like not enough Handicap parking. It would be nice to have a decent coffee shop & snack bar like casinos after playing all & dont want full on food.”

”Clean for most part. Only complaint was sink only ran a trickle of water and water tasted nasty. Staff was very friendly and helpful.”

”Such an amazing place to visit and stay, even if not in one of the castle rooms. Breakfast is amazing as is the high tea. Cannot wait to go back!!”

”All staff members were extremely friendly. Breakfast was great! Room was very clean and well stocked with toiletries. Front desk was very helpful and responsive.”

”Hotel was a morgue in early 1900s, and was advised by staff and casino employees sometimes see a female ghost playing the slot machines, fascinating history of casino and town.”

”This is a great Motel 6. I didn't get the ground floor so I opted for the top floor instead - go big or go home right? Lol. The room was large, very clean, good water pressure. I always travel with my own coffee maker but I'm not sure that the room had one - it didn't have a microwave which I prefer one. The reasons I'm giving it a 4: The lady at the front desk wasn't unpleasant - but it was like she was doing what she had to do then move on. Then I let her know like hey just heads up the TV...

”Once the room was available for check in around 4:15, check in should have been 3pm, the room was clean and roomy. Although there are No Marijuana Smoking allowed signs everywhere, my grand daughter and I had to walk through 3 halls with acute smell of Marijuana. Property management should enforce their policy, if not, then I suggest not staying in Colorado at all if you dont want to be around Marijuana at every turn.”

”Comfortable bed and safe area. Quiet and slept well. Nice view of the mountains. Grab and go small breakfast snacks. Clean room and lobby.”

”Toilet took 8 flushes to clear, sink drained super slow, vent was missing in shower light, crack in the bathtub and drain broken. Hotel door deadbolt was tough and latch lock was broken and missing. Not many outlets to charge phones or plug in CPAP and the one in the entry was too loose to even hold plug in. No modern type C or USB outlets.”
