”Loved the place. The room was so cute and cozy & clean. Bed was extremely comfy, slept great. The appy hour was good, pizza tasty. Breakfast was delicious! Staff extremely friendly and personable.”

”The windows in our room were so dirty that it was hard to see the view. The rug was thread bear and had a hole that had been poorly repaired with the rug pad showing through . The gardens may have been lovely in years gone by but clearly aren’t getting any attention now. For almost $400 Canadian/ night I would expect more attention to detail and care for this beautiful old home. I won’t return”

”Check-in staff was very welcoming and the stay included a gift of chocolates and one of their brews. Complimentary parking and easy access to walking trails is a huge plus. Room is located in a heritage house. Our room was on the main floor and sound does travel from hallways and upper floors, but it did not affect our enjoyment. The bed was quite comfortable and room was clean. It would have been nice to have an electrical outlet in the bathroom, or a mirror in the main room near an outlet. A...

”We stayed in a room outside of the house. We did not get to experience the beauty on the inside other than eating a very good breakfast in the front room. Our room was muggy and not very nice. Would we stay here again… probably not. Beautiful home, would have a better experience if we stayed inside the home.”

”Beautiful place to stay. The highlight is the breakfast prepared by a chef, and the lovely deer that were grazing outside. It’s also a short walk up the street to the lieutenant governor’s residence with the lovely walking trails and Craigdarroch castle.”
