    Experience the beauty and tranquility of coastal living in our charming 2-bedroom garden suite. The house is located at the famous Esquimalt Lagoon and offers a lovely outside space over looking the Juan de Fuca straight with amazing views of the ocean and Olympic mountains. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and breath taking views and the convenience of being only 15-20 minutes from Downtown Victoria.
    The space
    Everything you would ever need for a comfortable stay is just a quick drive away. Groceries/Bars/Coffee shops/Liquor stores/Malls etc..

    Bedrooms: Two comfortable and tastefully decorated bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and the other bedroom has 2 single sized beds, plush linens, and ample storage space.

    Living Area: A cozy living room with comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and large windows that frame stunning ocean views.

    Kitchen: Fully equipped with modern appliances, including a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and all the essentials for preparing delicious meals.

    Dining Area: An inviting space with a table for four, perfect for enjoying meals while taking in the ocean views.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. It was very clean and accurately pictured. Our host lives on the property and was very hospitable and gracious. We hope to return.

The property was everything we hoped for and more. The views were fantastic! So many ships to watch everyday, we even saw a submarine!!! The property outside was immaculate, and n a very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely go back again! 5 Stars!

Perfect for a family. Spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable. Wonderful lagoon and sea views, and mere steps to the beach. Patricia is a very thoughtful host, leaving croissants and home made jam for us. This was our second visit, and looking forward to our third!

We arrived to a lovely treat and everything we needed to relax. Patricia truly embodies the original spirit of short-term accommodation. She loves getting to know her guests and dropped by with treats to ensure we were well-fed and informed. Our kids also really enjoyed playing with Rascal, who is happy to fetch a ball. The neighborhood is peaceful, and the views in the area are stunning. The location is perfect: it's not too far from Victoria, yet it's close to nature and quieter areas of the region

Solo getaway

Great spot for a solo retreat with daily beach walks, sunset views & puppy pets! .The main bed was a little firm for my liking so I slept on the smaller bed and it was great!

We loved the location, an easy 2 block walk to the beach. The host, Pat, was very helpful and quick to respond. The apt. very clean. A car would be essential to get around the area. Overall it was a wonderful find and enjoyable stay!

Highly recommend! ! Romantic and family friendly too! A quiet self contained cottage on a beautiful property maintained by a gracious and caring host. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Scenic walks with many trails within walking or short driving distance. Fun to watch the cruise ships go by from our panoramic window. Thank you for a wonderful time away!

We had a wonderful stay at Patricia's suite on the Esquimalt Lagoon in Colwood. We loved the views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains in the distance, lots of bird life, and a nice relaxing place from where we could explore Victoria and Vancouver Island. Patricia is a gracious and generous host, and provided great recommendations on places to visit and local eateries.Highly recommend!!

Had a terrible experience, could not even stay one night, never mind more than one hour. As soon as we entered we knew we had to get out of there. Immediately started looking for new accommodations, knowing that there was a risk that we wouldn’t be getting a refund (we didn’t - not even the cleaning fee). The photos are nicer than reality. It’s not a new property, definitely showing its age, which is fine, but then post accurate photos and not the bright white filter looking kind that make it look more modern and clean. Don’t say it’s clean and leave cobwebs, dust, and dead and living fruit flies and spiders around and then turn around and deny that it was unclean despite our photos showing clearly otherwise. It was appalling how unclean it was. There was also a bad musty wet dog smell. Awful. Also, if you’re going to post the photos of an immaculate backyard, post a photo of the clutter that is back there as well. Just let people know what they are truly booking. It is terrible to charge the amount that you are charging for an unclean property. By the way, the bed in bedroom down the hall has a very hard mattress. Some people may like that but for those who don’t, FYI. All in all, would never recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful Stay!

This is one of the best stays I’ve ever had in a private accommodation. Beautiful standalone suite, high ceilings, incredible ocean views right from the couch. The host is an amazing person and will go the extra mile to make sure your visit is as enjoyable as possible. Thank you so much!

Relaxing Vacation

This was a great home to come relax at after a day of touring around. We were able to go to the Market and cook dinner at home which was fantastic because FRESH SEAFOOD! The view was amazing. Pat was very accomodating and was so helpful! When we wanted a puzzle to do in the evenings she brought us one, when we were sitting out in the grass she showed us where we could find some chairs. Even bought a Bocce set so we could play in the beautiful grass while soaking in the amazing views! The beach just a block away was also a very fun beach to find thngs on. Would absolutely stay again!

Our last stop on the island

After a long day driving, we arrived to a special treat and everything we needed to just relax and enjoy the evening. Patricia is a wonderful host and cannot thank her enough for helpful info and guidance about this end of Vancouver Island and more! Friendly, peaceful neighbourhood. We enjoyed beach walks in the morning and sunset. Interesting sights on the water, night views of Victoria. Close to Victoria. Quick and easy, both in and around to different places. Oh! and everything was perfect inside, comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, spotless bathroom and more. Absolutely recommend and would definitely book this property again.

Relaxing, quiet place with a wonderful host!

Great little two bedroom ADU with a view overlooking the beach. Just a short one block walk to put your toes in the water. Perfect for a quiet get away or a remote working setup. It’s not terribly close to entertainment options but if that’s your thing then this is the right place for you. Pat, the host and her doggo “Rascal” are super friendly and gracious hosts! Would recommend this place for a chill budget place for a couple or small family. I wish the internet had been a little more reliable. I had some trouble with video calls but could handle email and streaming services without major issues. Otherwise no issues.
