I honestly don't know how to rate this hotel.
Front staff Raffael deserves a raise. I absolutely love his professionalism, he was super well mannered, friendly greeting, super polite, and knew everything inside out. I would hire him for my business in a heartbeat.
As for the room, I noticed a weird smell, tub wasn't cleaned (there was some dirt), I found dead bugs (multiple) in random spots, the chair had some liquid stains (you can already imagine), and I saw a bug underneath the bedsheets too.
I didn't want to address any issues, since I was in Victoria for an event to celebrate my fiancee's engagement. Raffael was generous to upgrade our room from Queen to King. So I didn't want to sound ungrateful by pointing out all these issues. I spent about an hour cleaning up sanitizing the place (luckily I brought disinfectants) and left the window opened.
Overall, it was quite uncomfortable, I didn't want to touch anything including sleeping on the bed was bothering us even after the sanitation. The smell persisted even after leaving the windows opened for 2hours even though outside was at 6degrees Celsius.
