”The Magnolia is in an excellent location in the middle of Victoria, close walk to anything you'd want to do as a visitor, and right near the boat and air terminals. The hotel itself was very clean (probably THE most important aspect of hotels) and the staff were awesome. ”

”5 minutes walk to Victoria downtown. However, as it is a historical hotel, please expect some noise at night from the heat and electricity systems.”

”Clean and efficiently furnished studio room in a good location in a nice area. Nice comfortable touches for longer stays. Parking was disrupted with some work being done and access was a little tight at times due to barricades & workers but I'm sure that's a temporary problem. If the value remains, we will be back.”

”Should be noted that the Garden Gate room is *outside* the main house on the ground floor and the one lock is on French doors. Also, there is only a tub, and it is ENORMOUS, and not so easy to get in and out of. If you are a walker, it is a lovely long walk through the neighbourhood to get to a grocery store and the ocean. Staff was excellent, and breakfasts were huge and very delicious. ”

”The hotel is in cross proximity to Victoria harbour. Staff is very friendly and hotel is having excellent amenities and is on Quebec Street which is full of Cherry blossom trees. Hotel is themed as if it's the 70s and is very unique for the new generation. ”

”Enjoyed my stay. It was a bucket list item! It was clean! It was quiet. There are robes and I love dark towels! The bed is warm with a firm mattress. At home I have a 4 inch memory foam topper, so a firm mattress was a very different sleep for me. My favorite was having a seal swim by as I was having my morning coffee!
