”We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the streets but it was soundproof so no street noise. And no sound of other guests during our stay. The black out curtains and the comfy beds made for a good night’s sleep.”

”Amenity was very extensive, great value for the money. My 700sqft suite felt very comfortable, however we felt some of the finishing and layout is a bit outdated. Amenity within the kitchen was very helpful for us considering dining in the suite instead of spending extra money dining out. ”

”In a good location...walkable to the harbour area. Close to Starbucks, the Od Spaghetti Factory, etc. A 20min walk to the Fisherman's Wharf. Staff were courteous, friendly and very accomodating. Amenities and room is great with Tyneham products in the bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel and will go back sometime in the future.”

”Lovely time spent at the hotel for our stay. Walking distance from the hotel to dining, sightseeing was perfect for us. The hotel staff was friendly and generous as well!”

”The room was very clean and tidy. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I did not get to try their restaurant downstairs but overall would recommend this place for short term stay in Victoria. All the popular attractions was in walking distance and there is a bus station five minutes away. ”

”Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were super friendly. Bed was too soft for my liking but that’s a personal preference. My only complaint is that the hotel is on a very busy street (Douglas) and the side street has a school bus depot. Our room was near the corner of both streets and we stayed during the weekday so our room was pretty loud and noisy in the early mornings. Rooms away from Douglas street might not be as loud. ”

”We enjoyed our stay at The Embassy Inn. This is the second time we have stayed with them. It is clean and quiet with a great location close to the harbour. The breakfast is good and there is a small outdoor seating area at the back of the hotel to enjoy Victoria weather. (It would have been nice to have seating in their front garden as well.) The property is older and could use updating but otherwise is maintained. The beds are comfortable and they make up the room daily which was a pleasant...

”Small room, no AC or fan, mosquitoes inside once you open windows…coz vibes but don’t expect luxury at all. Brewpub was v good and views were good. Overall quite mixed”
