”I stayed here with my wife to do the Saint-Emilion (wine) experience for few days during our anniversary trip. We wanted something in a walking distance for food, drinks and stuff but not being in the Saint-Emilion village center. Also the place had to have the "feeling". Clos 1906 could not have been a better discovery. This small hotel is extremely nice and recently renovated with a very good taste. The backyard with a pool is a nice hideout to chill and watch over the hills for vineyards....

”My husband and I had an incredible stay at Chateau De Ferrand! We stayed for only one night and the room, food, wine, and hospitality were out of this world! We wish we could have stayed longer. Balthazar and Elliot were very attentive, kind, and even gave us recommendations for the next stop on our trip. The views of the vineyards were lovely and it was quiet and serene. If you have the opportunity to stay here, take it!”

”Lovely countryside wineyard, very friendly owners, excellent breakfast. The building is very old, which makes a nice character, but the smell of the room was a bit unpleasant. Otherwise the room was really nice. ”

”Mukava majoittumispaikka (ei hotelli), jos kaipaa rentoutumista viinitilalla. Tilat puhtaat ja siistit. Asiakaspalvelu hyvää. Aamiainen ok. Lähimpään kylään kävelee 20-30 minuuttia (myös rautatieasemalle). Majoitustiloissa ei ravintolaa. Sunnuntai aamupalatarpeet laitettu jääkaappiin huonekohtaisesti erikseen. Henkilökunta paikalla rajoitetuin ajoin. Olisin kaivannut enemmän viiniin ja viinitilaan liittyvää palvelua, toki pieni maistelu tilan viineistä järjestyi.”

”Second time we have stayed here and still excellent. Great place to stay and base for wine testing and tours. Parking is great and staff very attentive. ”

”Food is excellent and we were made very welcome despite arriving late for dinner after a long drive. The chateau itself is a lovely building in a beautiful setting and is furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern. Atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We didn’t have time to use the spa facilities but will do next time we visit.”

”We really enjoyed our stay, what a wonderful place. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, comfy bed. Our hosts were welcoming and between us we managed some good conversations with our shared knowledge of French & English. The pool was very welcomed after a hot day and the glass of rose wine enjoyed after our swim was delightful. Our hosts very kindly booked us a table at a nearby restaurant and gave us a map to help us find it. We slept brilliantly and woke the next day to a delicious...
