We had a great stay for a week in February. Being a family of five with friends nearby, the size of the house (very spacious) was great. The three bedrooms located next to each other on the first floor made a great frame for us.
The area is quite dead in winter, but there is a local supermarket 10-15 minutes away by food and we took an uber (they are quite cheap; about €5 to the supermarket and €60 from the airport) to the bigger supermarket when grocery shopping for more.
Only two minor things worth mentioning;
1) the day before departure we received an email telling us to deliver the key upon departure at the office, which is 5 minutes away by car. We thought we could leave it in the key box outside, so we had to alter our plans a bit that very early morning on the way to the airport. It would have been nice with an earlier warning of this.
2) being a neurodivergent family, we a quite sound sensitive and hard surfaces like tiles and glass are not very sound absourcing, so we were a bit challenged at times being together all of us. But this is a common problem everywhere, especially in rental places in warm climates, so we were prepared for this. And it just made us appreciate the rooftop, balcony and pool area even more as we could spread out easily.
15 minutes (by car) away is a ferry going to Spain. We did a trip and loved the city on the other side, so a recommendation for this. Notice when the ferry stops for the day, as uber isn’t available returning.
