Tervetuloa Eagles Nestiin

Huomautus: Katso lisätietoja alla olevasta huoneesta, jos haluat käyttää monta / joustavaa nukkumiskokoa.

Eagles Nest on tyylikäs mökki, joka sijaitsee harjanteella, ja josta on ihastuttavat vuoristomaisemat vain minuuttien päässä Boonesta. Kotona on avoin pohjaratkaisu ja suuri ruokailutila, jolta on näköala vuoristoon ikkunoiden läpi. Eagles-pesää markkinoidaan 3 makuuhuoneen koti, jossa on joustavat makuutilat. 2 alemman tason bonushuonetta tarjoavat nukkumisalueet vielä 5 hengelle, mikä mahdollistaa monen nukkumisen. Alemmalla tasolla on biljardihuone, jossa on taulutelevisio ja 6 hengen poreallas näköalalla.

Ulkopuolella on tilaa kävellä ja nauttia harjan yläasennosta ja laajasta 20 meripeninkulman näkymästä. Myös ulkopuolella on palo kuoppaan, jossa on istumapaikat vaahtokarkkeja paistettaessa ja pysyäkseen lämpimänä vilkkaalla syksyyöllä.

Koti sijaitsee vain muutaman minuutin Boone ja on keskeinen High Country nähtävyyksiä, kuten Tweetsie Railroad, Blowing Rock, 3 hiihtokeskuksissa, isoisä Mountain, kalastus, koskenlaskua, lumi letku ja enemmän.

Tärkeää tietoa
- Eagles Nest sijaitsee yksityisessä yhteisössä, ja ryhmiä pyydetään kunnioittamaan naapurustoa. Ääni kulkee vuoristossa, joten pidä mielessä, kun nautit ulkoalueista.

We are planning our next visit

The location is pretty great. Very close to 105 and has a turn lane off the highway going both ways. Easy to get to and from the house. The house is nice. It's a log cabin inside and out. The view is great even from inside. My family had a fantastic time just staying there. It was a vacation we all really needed. For clean I would give it an 8 of 10 compared to other places we stayed. Everything that mattered was very clean. The kitchen, beds, floors, living room and bathrooms were all clean. The kitchen was good. We cooked several meals with no problems. My kids loved the hot tub and pool table. No one wanted to go home. We are planning our next visit to the cabin.

Beautiful home but is in need of a deep clean

The house itself is absolutely beautiful and the views are breathtaking. It is at the very top of a "mountain" in a private gated community in a quiet cul-de-sac. The house was well appointed with cooking utensils, for a rental, and and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group of 3 families with 5 young children. We had a slight issue with the cleanliness when we first arrived at, but the property management company resolved it quickly. From a surface level, the house seemed clean enough but after being there for a night, everyone in our party commented that it needed a good deep clean (lots of dog hair on the rugs, dust bunnies in corners of almost every room, and a layer of dust underneath all of the furniture, etc.). That is the only thing that kept this home from being 5 stars.

The house itself is wonderful.Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, the kitchen was well equipped to cook our meals. The cleaning could have been better. We found a clump of hair in the master shower, used makeup remover pads in the master bathroom, qtips in the upstairs bath and had to plunge one of the toilets because someone had flushed a washcloth. Not how we wanted to start our trip!

The eagle's nest is overall a lovely home, and we felt very secure in the gated neighborhood. When we arrived, we were allowed to get into the home about 30 minutes early and everything was very clean. (we did find a used band-aid on the windowsill outside though) The one main thing that I think would help is a better stocked kitchen. A home of that size with such a lovely kitchen, we were a little disappointed that there wasn't a better supply of cookware (casserole dishes, various sizes of pots and pans, etc). Other simple amenities like paper towels, reynolds wrap, basic spices like salt and pepper would have added a nice touch. Lastly, we were only left one coffee filter (not sure if that was our responsibility or not). Overall, we were very happy!

The Eagles' Nest was in a perfect location for what our family wanted to do. The home was beautiful but had several initial problems for us. We noticed upon arrival several not well-maintained items, as well as poor cleaning, and made a list with pictures of the concerning items. The people at Carolina Cabin Rentals seemed concerned about the issues, but we were given a time when someone would show up to check out the most concerning issue, a large crack in a window above the fireplace, and no one came. We had to call multiple times, but someone finally came to check it out. Sound insulation is not very good. We could hear people talking and noises in rooms above or below. The hot tub did not work well. We had to frequently use the breaker box to reset It. We called the first day we used it to report our difficulty. The person who took the call told us to try the breaker switch and indicated that she would pass the issue on to maintenance. No one contacted us again to help us with our concern. Also, we had to wash nearly everything we wanted to use in the kitchen. We did end up having a wonderful week. It just started in a disappointing way. We would probably come again, if the opportunity arises.

Great Cabin

Great cabin for a large group winter vacation. Very cozy setting. I Would recommend having better quality and amount of linens and a better cleaning of the property. Other than that we had a great time and the rental company is very organized and accessible at all times (including christmas day).

Great Experience

We've been renting vacation homes in this area for 20 years. Eagle's Nest is definitely one of best! Great location and views with easy access. We did however find a need for pots and pans in the kitchen. We purchased a set and left them at the home. Collins' family gives this home 5 stars!

1 year later....

After staying in this house a year ago and having many issues including rooms with not lights, leftover debris on the floor from the last guest, a leak from a shower upstairs into the kitchen, and a clogged drain (which we unclogged for them) in the downstairs bathroom and reporting all of this to the rental agency, we decided to give it one more try. We assumed things would have been taken care of since our last stay was full of problems. To the contrary, many of these same issues were still there. Upon arrival, one of the bathrooms was covered in debris and out of toilet paper (which we reported), the downstairs bedroom was still without a lightbulb in the overhead light, and the same leak as last year began again in the kitchen from the bathroom above. In addition, this year we found that the heat in the downstairs was not working correctly - we had a difficult time getting it above 67 degrees (with the door to the upstairs closed) and froze all night. Beautiful house with lots of amenities, but for the price we paid and the things we reported last year, we would have thought things would be more well-maintained than they were.

We were excited to be able to rent a cabin on the mountain edge in the Laurel Creek Community. However the house was not well maintained and reduced our experience. It certainly was not worth the cost per night. We are frequent customers who rent almost quarterly in the Boone, Blowing Rick and West Jefferson area. Your home had lots of maintenance issues. It is obvious that the owner is more interested in the sale of the property than prep for the renter. The kitchen was poorly stocked or not arranged where the renter could find the needed items. Towel racks, toilet tissue holders, and curtain rods were held poorly and some fail during use. TV had no instructions and guide did not work. There was not an outside garbage can to deposit trash which required us to carry our trash off in our vehicle ( and no convenient centers open in the area). Providing 1 wash cloth, 1 bath towel for a 5 night stay is inadequate despite we later saw that in your information. Still not the standard we have experienced. Only had 1 large towel for hot tub which we could not believe. Hot tub was not fully operational - all jets did not work. Truly this house did not meet our expectations for what we thought we were paying for. We have not been dissatisfied with Carolinas Cabin Rentals in the past, but we will certainly not rent a house with you when we can determine that the owner is in the process selling the property. The oversight of the rental company is just not present.

cleanliness and maintenance

On arrival to the house on Aug. 4, 2019, after unpacking all our belongings we noted debris on the floor by each door on back side of house. I called the office and they sent a housekeeper and she vacuumed the debris. Nobody knew what it was exactly. The house did appear to have been cleaned, but not recently as there was dust on all hard surfaces and cobwebs from lights etc. and spiders in basement bathtub. One of the toilet paper holders in upstairs bathroom was broken off, and other one was loose upstairs. After being there a couple of days we called because the only DVD player in unit was not working. We were told they may not be able to replace it so we purchased a cable to stream videos (for the kids) from ipad to tv. The next day I got a call from Felicite saying the maintenance man was coming to check on the reason for the debris, as well as bring a new DVD player. He did come and that problem was taken care of. When we checked out yesterday I noticed as we were about to leave, water was dripping from ceiling over the laundry area, so I called to report that as well as other maintenance issues mentioned, including several light bulbs burned out throughout the home. I was told I could have called about all these things during the week. I was also told the houses are all checked by maintenance after each departure. I find it difficult to believe this house was checked by maintenance any time recently due to all the issues mentioned above. And when I go on vacation and pay for a house I do not want to spend my time calling and receiving calls from the office to report things that should have been taken care of before I got there. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Eagles Nest, but disappointed with the maintenance issues mentioned and cleanliness.

Family Vacation

We stayed at Eagles Nest with the whole family. The property was everything we could have asked for. The house was amazing. We would highly recommend the property to anyone wanting to visit the Boone community. We only stayed for a weekend but could have stayed longer and never need to leave the house. We will be coming back and staying at Eagles Meat again in the future.

We had a wonderful time and the house was plenty spacious for our large family. We loved the house except you could hear people in the other rooms which made it hard to get children to sleep. Carolina Cabins were wonderful communicaters and very informative before we arrived. We had a rail broken on the stairs, toilet seat broken and towel rack broken. We called to report it and it was supposed to be fixed but never was. Other than that we had a wonderful experience.

Beautiful home - needs new cleaning/maintenance company

Our stay was fabulous. House was just as described on your website. Our only problems arose from issues that the cleaning/maintenance service left - clogged drains, leaks in ceiling from tubs above, popcorn, kernels, balloons all over floor, lightbulbs out in several rooms leaving no lighting at all. Would use your company again, but hope a new service was used for these issues.

This is a great space for

This is a great space for family and friends to rediscover one another. The views are great and the location gives you easy access to so much that the Blue Ridge has to offer. The supplies were a little lacking and some basic maintenance was needed in s couple of areas, but the overall atmosphere was delightful and I would go again.

The cabin had a nice view

The cabin had a nice view and spacious but there were minor things which we feel should be fixed. We had seen some flying bugs. Also the top floor bathroom is leaking water in to the kitchen area.
