With hardwood floors and a beautiful mix of industrial and vintage decor, the Hound Haus is a fully renovated A-frame tiny house centrally located to Purina Farms, WashMo, wine country, and St. Louis.

Ideal for a stay in the Show Me state, the Hound Haus hosts business travelers, solo travelers, dog show competitors, and couples looking to enjoy the greater St. Louis area.

The home comes with a large TV, Blueray player, games, fully equipped kitchen, linens and towels, WIFI, and the most adorable bistro set on the balcony.

THE SPACE

The Hound Haus has an open living, dining, and kitchen area, and a queen sized bed upstairs. Full bathroom located past the kitchen.

Only 331 sq. ft. total, it is truly a tiny house!

Only 10 minutes to the Purina Events Center, the Hound Haus is popular with guests competing at events held throughout the year.

THE BEDROOM

With crisp white linens and a deliciously comfortable bed, your sleep is high priority at the Hound Haus. Open the creamy white curtains to let sunshine stream in while stepping out onto the balcony to enjoy fresh, country air.

PEACEFUL RETREAT

The Hound Haus was created as a retreat of peace and relaxation while you are in the area. Whether you are here for business, exploring Missouri parks and wine country, biking the Katy Trail, or visiting family for a wedding or holiday, the Hound Haus will be your place to rejuvenate.

LIVING AREA

The living area features an incredibly gorgeous area rug that you want to dig your toes into when you sit back to catch up on your Netflix series. The Roku smart TV has streaming as well as Dish Sling, YouTube, Spotify, and more.

*Note that you will need to have your own Netflix, Hulu, Dish. etc. accounts to access those features as we do not share our accounts with you.*

KITCHEN

Fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, and microwave as well as several small appliances that you can't live without (i.e. Keurig, regular coffeemaker, teapot). The Hound Haus is equipped with white place settings, solid flatware, and sleek glassware, as well as wine glasses for relaxing.

BATHROOM

The clean, well lit bathroom just off the kitchen features a large mirror. Plush towels await you when you step out of the shower.

FRONT PORCH AND YARD

A newly landscaped front walk and front porch welcome you to enjoy a cup of morning coffee or relax in the evening with local beer or wine while Fido plays in the yard.

PETS

A small dog is welcome to come with you, but only with prior approval. Please note that the county requires that you keep your dog on a leash outside and clean up the poo. There is a $25/night rate plus tax.

The dog rate applies to ALL dogs on property, even those you choose not to bring inside the home.

NEIGHBORS

The Hound Haus shares the gravel drive with our Setter Haus and Fox Haus. You will see the other two homes nearby. Have friends with you? Book the "Pack" of three houses together.

The main level of the home as well as the porch, deck, and yard are all yours to enjoy.

- Rate is based on 1 person, there is per person fee for an additional guest, max of 2 people

🐶 Pre-approved dogs only, dog rate is $25 per night per dog plus taxes.

- The dog rate applies to ALL dogs on property, even those you choose not to bring inside the home

💳 Credit card must be on file in case of damages. We will send you an email to authorize a $1 hold after your booking is confirmed. This hold begins 3 days before your arrival and is released 3 days after departure if there is no damage, no excessive cleaning needed, and no house rules are broken.

🚗 Drivers license will be required with our signed guest agreement after you book, along with a selfie holding your photo ID

🆔 We will perform a Guest ID verification securely through our payment processor after you book. The main purpose is to make sure no one has stolen your credit card and used it without your permission.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

You can purchase travel insurance for your reservation! The standard policy covers quite a few reasons for cancellation and applies to your whole traveling group.

Note that all new reservations have the option of purchasing a Cancel For Any Reason insurance policy besides the standard travel insurance policy. You can purchase this when you make your reservation with us, and the insurance is automatically connected to your stay.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel before 30 days of arrival, you receive a full refund of your deposit, less a cancellation fee. If you cancel within 30 days of arrival, there is no refund.
