”Location is excellent. Walk from your door to the beach in minutes. Property is definitely dated. But, effort has clearly been made to improve it. New balcony had been installed. Appeared to have newer paint, linens, and appliances. Property was perfectly clean when we arrived. My complaints are minor, and most didnt effect our stay in too negative of a way. The door lock on dishwasher would not latch, so couldnt use dishwasher. (Simple fix, but i didnt have any tools and im on vacation). ...

”The rooms were really clean. So was the lobby and halls. The staff were all super nice and helpful. The inside of the hotel stinks. Smells like mildew. Had to sleep with window open. Broke out with allergic reaction. I’m allergic to mold. Other than that, it’s great!”

”Staff was “meh”. However, the property was great, Pools were great, rooms were great, and access to the beach was great. Upgraded staff would make this place perfect.”

”I appreciate that we were able to spend a quiet time at the beach. A family friendly place for sure.”

”The hotel was fantastic and we really enjoyed staying here, our only complaint would be that food was regularly taken away a half hour before the breakfast cut off of 9:30. The cereal would be shut down, waffle batter, or gravy dumped, or waffle irons turned off. If breakfast ended at 9 we would be sure to come down with more time, but my family anticipated a 9:30 cutoff that wasn't followed.”

”Unit was clean and AC worked well. The beds were not very comfortable, too soft for us. The bedroom walls and bathroom wall and ceiling had several areas that need repairs/paint. Next visit, I will pay a little more and get a nicer place. I was traveling with my mother who uses a walker. Pictures on website show one small step to get in unit from the porch. What wasn't shown is the other 2 steps to get into the porch. Also, bathroom door was so narrow that my mom's walker wouldn't fit.”

”This was our first stay at Avista resort. We celebrated our 35 wedding anniversary. The resort was very clean and our room was top notch. The staff from office to the maids to people who helped with the luggage was top notch. We will definitely be staying at Avista resort again probably in September. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to stay in North Myrtle beach.”

”Everything thing in this room should be taken to landfill. Furniture dirty and worn out. When you take a shower and walk across the carpet your feet are black from the filthy carpet. Frying pan looked as if they were found in dump somewhere. We have staying at Prince Resort for about 15 years or more My wife and I decided that this would be last . It’s very disappointing when you wait all year to take a vacation and pay a lot of money and you end up a room that ruins it all.”

”I was called and asked to change condos and that I would get upgrade. Hah!. The place they put us in was terrible, Front door handle was broke and fell of when we tried to open. Chairs on porch were broken, picnic bench rotted, wood roaches on counter top killed half dozen. The ice container in the refrigerator had mold on it. The dispensers on refrigerator for ice didn’t work. The towels they brought looked like they bought them at a thrift store and they were wet. Run for your life from...

”The rooms were very overpriced to be in the condition they were in. Very old looking, had a horrible mold-like smell. I don’t think I would EVER stay there again especially not for that price.”
