”The Kittredge, Enoch, and Bodwell cabins are all located in a former granite quarry on an island in Penobscot Bay. Our family group rented all three and loved it. The cabins have tons of character and arenset up with grills, picnic tables, full kitchen, laundry, towels for swimming in the spring fed quarry. You have to see it to believe it. ”

I put away the phone (unreliable internet) opened up a good book, visited the nearby sand beach for a cold plunge, and took in some local theater. This place is a gift for the soul. ”

”My wife & I have known Alex & Siobhan for at least 15 years--we stayed in rooms at their former Claddagh Motel as well as suites, but we've stayed mostly at the Primrose B with our two kids & now twice at the Loft (just my wife & me). These innkeepers are the friendliest you'll ever encounter. ”The place was exactly as advertised. Plenty of space with an amazing view of the ocean from the balcony. We had coffee in the morning overlooking the ocean. While the sound of passing cars do hinder the sound of the ocean, the later in the evening it gets, the more the the relaxing ocean waves come through, which makes for a great night's sleep. They even left an awesome tote bag, which my wife loves. We will definitely be returning.”

”Bryan and Rebekah are a wealth of knowledge about the area. They were wonderful to talk to. Cabin 5 is charming and very comfortable. Perfect place to explore the area. We visited Rockport, Camden, Rockland, Lincolnville, Belfast and Union. All easy drives from this location. Be sure to check out Mt. Battie, Breakwater Light and Heron schooner”

”Everything was seamless about checking-in and out. Everything you could possibly think of is available for your use. You literally just need food and clothing. I wish there was AC, but my partner liked it warm. It did cool down late at night and there was a window fan to help. The owner put in a lot of thought in creating a peaceful stay.
