”The villa was in a stunning location, the villa & its furnishings were to a high standard. The only negative we had (which is no fault of the owners), is that be prepared for insect bites. That was our fault as perhaps a stay later on in the year wouldn’t be so bad so soon after spring. This didn’t by any means ruin our holiday & wouldn’t hesitate to book this villa if we were going back. James & Sandra who manage the villa couldn’t have been more helpful, thanks guys for looking after us.”

”Our family, ages ranging from 6-69, found this house in Competa to be just perfect. There were so many nice spots on the property to eat and sit…when it was cold we had a fire, when warm we sat outside in a variety of places. Our son is a chef so we had memorable meals from the kitchen, both indoor and out. Rafa was extremely attentive, though we had no problems. The view, the village, the hiking was good for kids and adults alike. Highly recommended.”

”Had a lovely relaxing stay at the villa, perfect for a quiet getaway. The pool was superb and very warm heated by the sun. The air-conditioning was definitely needed every evening and night. A great little restaurant was nearby called Pavo Real which was a real bonus so as you don't need to drive. All in all we had a lovely time. Only negatives for me where a few ants in the kitchen, which not really a problem as it's a hot country, just kept everything in the fridge. Also no English TV channels...

”Amazing property that had everything you would need for a holiday stay. Situated perfectly for us and meant we wanted for nothing the entire stay. Would recommend to anyone and will hopefully be booking again next year.”

”Of all the places we have stayed, this one stands out for us. The villa felt like a home from home. Everything you need and a really cosy, laid back atmosphere. The outdoor space is superb and the surroundings peaceful. The grounds are kept beautifully and the pool is pristine, as is the jacuzzi. The hosts were lovely. We had to get in touch at 2300 when we accidentally locked ourselves out. We felt terrible having to disturb them but they came out within 15 minutes with nothing but...

"Aamiaisella ei muuta vihreää kuin rucolaa. Kaipailtiin parsaa, retiisiä, kaaleja, porkkanaa jne. Skumppaa oli sitä haluaville, me ei siitä perusteta aamiaisella. Myöskään kanaleikkelettä ei ollut, muita (rasvaisia) leikkeleitä kyllä. Huone ok, minibaari löytyi ja suihkusta tuli OIKEASTI kuumaa vettä (yli 60C). Hiljainen ja siisti hotelli keskeisellä paikalla. Uima-altaan vesi kylmää jopa suomalaiselle. Pieni allas myös."

"Very friendly staff, hotel in great condition and room was perfect and very well cleaned. Loved staying at this hotel. Also location couldn’t be better. Only minus is the unusually operating lifts. With non hotel guests going to and coming from the rooftop bar, it was not that smooth to use the lifts and it could take time to get one. Maybe they should have only one lift in use for the rooftop bar customers and leave the others to hotel guests. "
