”The hotel definately has it's charm but with some facelifting the experience could be a lot better. The room I was offered was probaly renovated not after the 90's or even late 80's. The electrical wirings are also old - couldn't fit my standard grounded computer recharger in the power plugs of the room. ”We needed a one night stay near Geneva as we were coming from Italy over the Alps through Simplon pass and had a flight next afternoon. In Geneva everything was very expensive so we tought stop in Evian as it is only 40km from Geneva and a short drive away from airport. The hotel staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English.
