The Art Door only minutes from beach

The Art door is freshly renovated duplex located only minutes away from the beach. There are dozens of restaurants in the area and other things to do if the beach is not on your agenda. There is enough parking for two vehicles and with approval can accommodate more. There is high speed internet and Netflix already hooked up to the TV. The private backyard has nice lighting so you can enjoy the late night activities outside after a long day.

Property location to Virginia Beach was great! Like a 10 minute drive. While small, its nice having a full size refrigerator, oven, and small kitchen which you wouldn't get with a hotel room. The one drawback is a lack of outlets in the bedroom by the bed. If you use a CPAP machine like I do, and then two people wish to charge their phones overnight by the bed, bring a small powerstrip for extended outlets. Also, the outlets behind the dresser in the bedroom and the outlet in the living room area (on the same wall) did not work. There are outlets of course in the kitchen area. Outside of this, I would definitely stay here again. Also, don't concern yourself being near the naval air base - they don't fly their jets early in the morning or late at night. If they did, we didn't hear them. Great little spot to stay.

Property was just as explained! Very clean unit and comfortable beds and pillows. Neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe! Location was great, close to the beach and shopping! However we paid a”stay” fee of 80 and we felt paying per night was a stay fee. That was my only eyebrow raiser. Nothing to complain about w our decision. It's small, but nice. The bathroom was particularly nice. Everything was clean and well kept. We didn't use the small yard space, but I noticed that the owner has provided bags for dog waste disposal. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Cozy and Convenient

Cozy and clean half of duplex. Walkable neighborhood was a bit noisy with lots of jet traffic from nearby base. Very convenient with lots of attractions, shops and restaurants minutes away. Pet friendly with fenced in yard. Check in was very easy. Host asked how stay was going and allowed a late checkout which was much appreciated.
