In the heart of the Kaiserstuhl, just 25 km west of Freiburg, we welcome you to our family-run winery in Vogtsburg/Niederrotweil. Our house is located on the outskirts of the village, adjacent to the vineyards. Shopping facilities are about 1km away, many of our guests do this very relaxed on foot or by bike. The nearest train station is only a 5-minute walk away. The winery is therefore an ideal starting point for excursions, cycling and hiking tours, which start right on the doorstep, so that you can spend a varied vacation here, even without a car.

The Rhine, its meadow landscape and a bathing lake can be reached in 15 minutes by bike. On hikes through the Kaiserstuhl, you can discover and enjoy the wine landscape and gastronomic diversity. The cities of Freiburg, Colmar, Strasbourg and Basel can be reached and explored easily and environmentally friendly with the KONUS card. The nearby European town of Breisach and the picturesque town of Endingen

offer a variety of shopping opportunities in the Kaiserstuhl region and invite you to take a stroll.

If you just want to relax, you will find your own spot on the sunbathing lawn, by the pool or under the kiwi or vine arbor and can relax, read books or daydream with a great view of the vineyards. It is possible to use the private pool (4 x 8 m) at your own risk.

We offer guests rental bikes (e-bikes and trekking bikes for men and women, as well as bike trailers for small children).
