”This charming home is just a couple of miles from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. We were able to drive up to the park in the early morning hours to see the brief 26th fountaining of Kīlauea. The house is beautifully decorated and has all amenities necessary for a very comfortable stay. My grandsons declared the beds “very comfy” and wanted to be sure that’s included in the review. We definitely recommend Pu’uwai Place”

The location is close and very convenient for visiting the park, yet the house is very secluded and private. Not a tourist in sight! The treehouse was super clean and comfortable. A really fun place to stay. Highly recommend it!”

”Stayed one night and it was perfect for getting to and from Volcanoes. Best times to get there are early and late. Layout is quirky but functional. Bring your own coffee and filters as neither are provided. I had coffee but needed to ask a restaurant we stopped at for a filter. Wish it had a grill because the town of Volcano is a ghost town at night. No AC but it gets cool at night. A dehumidifier would be helpful rather than opening the windows but at least the coki frogs aren't as bad as...
