Welcome to our charming camp, a hidden gem with a rich history. Built in the 1950s by a grandfather and his son, this camp has been a cherished retreat for generations. Over the years, it became a beloved getaway for two families. However, as life got busier and with each family living three hours away, visits became less frequent, and the camp was gradually neglected.
In late fall of 2022, we, Nick & Kate, discovered this camp during one of our explorations. Captivated by its history and potential, we tracked down the original owners and finalized the purchase in early spring 2023. Since then, we've dedicated ourselves to revitalizing this special place, clearing trees and brush, and reopening it to the beauty of the great outdoors.
Our goal has been to create a cozy, inviting space that brings people together and reconnects them with nature. The camp's intimate size encourages quality time with loved ones, whether you're bunking up with siblings and friends or taking long walks on nearby trails. On rainy days, enjoy a selection of board games, card games, or a good movie.
The expansive yard is perfect for outdoor games and offers a sense of privacy for evening fireside gatherings. Swing around the fire while stargazing—the wide-open yard provides stunning views of the night sky. Share meals on the spacious front deck or relax in rocking chairs as you watch the sunset. The back deck is ideal for sipping your morning coffee and watching deer in the tranquil morning hours.
We hope our camp brings you back to the simplicity of life and closer to nature. Enjoy your stay and make cherished memories in this special place.
