Converse

”We were in town to visit family and this property was very close and convenient to the Marion area. It was very clean and the owners provided everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated that there were a few snacks and waters in the fridge as we have a couple kids that get hungry at sometimes inconvenient times. Coffee and cream were provided which was also very convenient for us as the coffee shop wasn't open on Sunday. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone...

12. From the moment you step onto our huge, inviting front porch, you'll feel your stress melt away

Marion

”The front porch is amazing. So relaxing. The back yard is beautiful. My husband was worried it would be too hot sitting around the fire pit because the picture made it look like it was sitting far from the house on cement and brick without shade. But not true. Pictures do not do this place justice. Having 2.5 bathrooms meant no wait time. Bedrooms are lovely. Beautiful wallpaper. I love this place and would love to stay again.”

13. Wenopa - Charming 3-bedroom home on a Lake Manitou peninsula in Rochester

Rochester

”I can't say enough how wonderful this place is. The best part was the placement on the lake - on a peninsula where you're surrounded on 3 sides with the lake. Amazing and multiple views. At one point, we had members of our family launching kayaks off one dock, fishing off another, and accepting a pontoon rental at the third pier. The grounds were clean and well maintained, too. The house itself was perfect for our crew of 7. All the amenities you'd want and need plus more. And also so clean....
