Summary:
This quaint and charming home is located in a peaceful area of Sanger Heights. The 3 bedrooms boast comfy tuft & needle mattresses for you to enjoy a good nights rest. Cook up your best meal in the fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the living room with farmhouse vibe decor. This home is equipped with fast wifi and private parking. It also has a very nice large back lawn to enjoy the outdoors!

The Space:
Sleeps 6 people. Each of the 3 bedrooms has super-comfy Tuft & Needle mattresses and the master suite has an attached full bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator along with pots, cooking utensils and dishes for cooking up gourmet meals while you're in town. Large washer/dryer set will take care of your laundry. And the dining table seats 6! Off-street parking makes sure you don't ever have to fight for a parking spot. :-)

The Neighborhood:
We are located in Sanger Heights. Here is what the city of Waco has to say about our little neightborhood.
Sanger-Heights is one of Waco's oldest neighborhoods, and remains one of the most diverse and attractive locations in the city. From the tree-lined, historic Colcord Avenue to the award-winning "Street of Dreams" on 15th street, something exciting is definitely happening in Sanger-Heights these days. Go for a jog around Seley Park, grab a burger at the World Cup Cafe - voted Waco's best new restaurant (right on our boundary), or browse one-of-a-kind antiques at Show & Tell; there is something for everyone here in this unique urban village.

Getting Around:
It is within a few minuets of downtown Waco, but Uber and Lyft are also both available.

Interaction with Guests:
We live nearby and are only a phone call or text away.

  • The Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas is a terrific zoo! The zoo has a great range of animals and exhibits and the grounds are well kept and spacious. There's lots of shade to keep you somewhat cool during those hot Texan summer months if you visit during that time frame. The animal enclosures are nice, and can really give you great views of the animals themselves if you are a bit patient. This also makes for great photo views, as shown here with this photo of an approaching jaguar. Food and snack prices are also very reasonable, as are prices for souvenirs. This zoo makes for a great day out for the family.

Stay here if you like an exceptionally clean home! This charming place is also beautiful and cozy throughout the entire home. I got such a good night’s sleep in the comfortable bed with lots of comfy pillows! There was a beautiful Christmas tree there all lit up when we arrived which was a very nice touch. We arrived in the evening, so having the lamps on for us when we got there made the place very inviting. I would 100% stay here again!!!

nice, clean. comfortable house

Very nice and comfortable. I liked that I could park my car near the back of the house where it was mostly out of sight. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. There were only two of us on my visit, but a large family could easily stay here and not feel crowded.As my daughter is just starting Baylor, I will likely book this place again when I come to visit over the upcoming years.

Great memories

Waco was a half way city for us and our other family. We knew we wanted to see a few things Magnolia, but most importantly to spend precious time together as a family.The home was perfect for our weekend. It gave us the space and comfort to visit and see Waco.VillaStay was one of the best groups I've dealt with when staying in a VRBO home. They were very attentive & informative. Treat of a Retreat

What a wonderful cottage to stay in. Everything was perfect and even better than the listing photos. This is a must stay in cottage especially if you are coming to Waco for Magnolia/aThe Silos. Beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen well appointed, and pleasant gathering spaces for coffee conversation and dining. Highly recommended!

Absolutely adorable!

We stayed at the Ethel Rose for our girls trip for four days. The house was so cute. The beds were so comfortable and they even had extra toiletries for us in case we forgot anything! Devorah checked in on us and asked if we needed anything, which we appreciated tremendously! We would definitely stay here again!

Initially they said I could probably check in early but when I arrive 60 min early they could not find the checkpoint person to see if the house was ready.
