”Great location for a golf trip, multiple courses nearby. House was clean and had all the necessities for a big group. Host was very responsive and any questions were quickly answered. ”

”We had talked a couple years about a getaway with our grown daughters, son-in-law, and granddaughter and were fortunate it worked out this year and we were able to stay at this property. We enjoyed everything about this property and would stay again. The house was spacious with a large deck on the back which leads to the beautiful backyard. We enjoyed the great sandy beach and the clear waters of Ottertail Lake. Thank you for allowing us to stay!”

”Perfect spot for a summer getaway! The beach at this property was amazing for the kids to swim because it’s so shallow and the adults were able to relax on the deck and watch them swim. The lake is beautiful with clear water and great fishing by the reeds. Our host responded quickly to all of the questions we had and was very accommodating to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Would highly recommend this property!”

”Very lovely, roomy home, supplied with just about everything a family would want or need. Nice big yard, great beach - would be awesome for younger children - and a gigantic lakeside deck plus another large deck on the other side of the house. The owner was very congenial, helpful and easy to reach if needed. Lake Buchanan is good for pan fish (sunnies, fun especially for children to catch) crappies, blue gills, walleye, bass & northern! Our family had a wonderful time there!!”

”My family and I had a great stay at this property. Check-in/check-out details were communicated well before our visit and the property managers were available for questions via the app and text. We enjoyed the clean and family friendly spaces and greatly appreciated the additional amenities like fresh towels of various sizes, many kitchen supplies, and fleece blankets. We really enjoyed the many places to gather throughout the home, inside and out. We had a great time and plan to be back next...

”First off it was very nice and cool in there but there was no TV, no guest WIFI, stove/oven didn't work lamp missing light bulb. I grilled a steak one night and when to grab a steak knife out of the block and it was all greasy.”

”This house was set up perfectly for a large family. We had some bad weather that kept us indoors for a day. Lots of space and things to do inside. Large kitchen/family room, pool table, tv room, game room, and sitting room. Something for everyone, and enough space to find quiet time if you needed it. 5 stars.”

”My 3 sisters and I celebrated my 2nd sisters 80th birthday at Trouper’s Landing. Our host was very responsive and check in was easy. The cabin is located on the 2nd level with a garage below. The cabin interior is beautifully done in knotty pine. The kitchen has all the things you might need. The bathroom has a new shower and it’s very updated. The beds were comfortable. Lots of good instructions on how to use everything, tv heat and air, were posted in the cabin. The lakeside has a dock, a...

”One of the best stays we've had. Well-stocked with everything we needed...the only exception would be grilling utensils but we made due without problem. Comfortable space for 11 of us whether to be all in the kitchen/living great room or on the 3 season porch taking in the view. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much, Kari!”
