The sunsets! Oh my, the sunsets! We stayed 5 weeks in this marvelous home. From the moment we entered we were wowed. Immaculate, beautifully decorated and well appointed. We are serious cooks and this exceeded our expectations for cooking equipment, spices, linens, and serving ware. Very comfortable furnishings. The wrap around lanai has unobstructed ocean and sunset views. During our stay we had a 70th birthday party for 35 people at the Vista Waikoloa pavilion most from the mainland. A perfect venue for celebrations, the pavilion can be reserved at no charge and you have complimentary use of tables and chairs. This was our 3rd stay at a Vista Waikoloa condo and this is by far the best unit. The community amenities including pool, hot tubs, gym, and business center make our stays enjoyable. You can conveniently ship items for your stay that are held in the mailroom awaiting your arrival. But back to the sunsets, nearly every evening we hosted small groups of friends and relatives in town for the party to magnificent sunsets over pupus or dinner. Although most of our party guests stayed in Vista Waikoloa condors, needless to say ours was the place to be at 6:00 pm. Our highest praise to Judith and Brendan for hosting an exceptional property.

Awesome Big Island Location

My husband I stayed at this property for two wonderful weeks. It's mid-island location was excellent for all of the wandering and exploration one could want to do. Plus, the condo was beautifully appointed and very relaxing. It has a large lanai, a great kitchen, beautiful bathrooms and a lovely, large living/dining area that is just perfect for enjoying a great meal and unwinding at the end of a busy day. The owners were such gracious hosts - so helpful and wonderful to work with. The welcome basket was delightful and so appreciated. We hope to return again soon.

Big Island Bliss

This property was amazing! If you’re looking for a beautiful home to come back to at the end of the day, this is the place. Very quiet retirement community with great views of the ocean from the huge patios. We saw whales and the sunset on multiple occasions. The place is very well stocked and has everything you could ever need. Communication with the owner is quick and effortless. If you don’t stay here, you’re missing out on the best stay in Waikoloa.

Stunning in every way!

From the moment my husband and I walked into A301, we were blown away. The photos online simply do not do it justice. The decor was stylish, the amenities many, and condo larger than expected. There was a bottle of sparkling wine, fruit and a full bag of Kona coffee beans awaiting our use. But best, oh my stars, the sunsets...simply amazing. They were not kidding about the view! Looking around, they are one of the few condos in that property that get that view. Compared to most of the other resort properties, this one is well situated for a relatively easy walk to the beach and markets. Brendan and Judith were spectacular hosts. They provided us with all the info we needed early on and were so responsive to us when needed. I have given 5 star ratings before, but the overall experience with A301 was above and beyond! Love, love, LOVE this place!

Bliss at Waikoloa Beach

As soon as we walked in the door we all said “wow”! The entire experience was just perfect. And even when the blender broke another appeared a couple of days later. Gorgeous views, fantastic location, and wonderful amenities. This place is a must rent on your next vacation. I’ll be back!

Modern condo: comfortable with great ocean view

We stayed at A301 while attending a conference at the Hilton Waikoloa Resort. At first I thought I would miss being at the resort but what a great decision to stay at A301. We had so much room and all the amenities of home and then some. Checkin following the directions was a breeze. We were greeted with sparkling wine, kona coffe, and local fruits. What a pleasant surprise. After long days of seating in a conference room, it was great to be able to stretch out and enjoy being out on the lanai while watching the amazing sunsets. The only negative I would state is that the place was a bit dusty. Perhaps it wasn't used for a while before we checked in. Otherwise clean. Loved our stay and would definitely come back. Thank you Brendan for answering all of our questions and arranging for a great stay.

Perfect Location

This property was everything that it was advertised and more!! My siblings and I met up in Hawaii and this condo proved to be the perfect place to hold our "reunion". The balcony of the property gives you the perfect sunset! The condo is clean and spacious with every amenity you could possibly need. To take the stay over the top, the hosts have binders full of local attractions, restaurants, spas, etc. An updated guide book of the BIG Island and what to expect traveling to the attractions!! Judith & Bendan leave no stone unturned for their guests! I could not have asked for a better place and experience for my siblings.

Unit A301 was just perfect for 4 adults!

We loved everything about A301! The view from the lanai was wonderful and the sunsets spectacular! The condo was clean and beautiful and very well appointed! We like to cook and BBQ and there was every amenity we needed and then some! Loved being able to use the chairs, umbrella, coolers, and snorkeling equipment! Close to shops and restaurants! We will definitely be back!

So grateful to have stayed at Brendan and Judith's lovely condo on our first trip to Hawaii! The location is just perfect - nice walking distance to the beach, shopping and dining. Great Hawaii Experience.

We had a great stay at A301. The unit was clean, updated, and in a great location. They had all the beach necessities we needed including chairs, umbrella, cooler, body boards, and snorkel gear. We loved the ocean view and balcony sunsets. The hosts always answered any questions in a timely manner. We would choose to stay in this unit if we make our way to the area again.

Outstanding Waikoloa Condo !!

The condo was awesome, had all the kitchen amenities you would want. The coffee maker was great, rave reviews from the coffee drinkers in the group. Loved the blue bottom pool with plenty of lounge chairs for all. The host's directions and instructions were super helpful. The location was central to everything near Waikoloa, 15 min drive to the Kona airport, Costco, grocery stores, etc. Owner is super responsive. Would stay here again.

The condo is a gorgeous home. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The lanai's were so relaxing. It was wonderful to come back to the condo after a long day enjoying the sites. The lanai's and views were fantastic. You will not regret choosing to stay here.

Vista A301 at Waikoloa

Vista A301 has been beautifully renovated with many modern touches. It has a very spacious deck, and the views are wonderful (sunsets = A++). The owners have provided everything you need to prepare meals 'at home' and have not skimped on those helpful 'extras' that travellers appreciate (no running out of t.p. in this place!). The grounds are lovely and the pool is huge. We stayed in A301 for 3 weeks and loved it! If I had to think of a 'however', it would simply be a word of caution: we arrived very late at night. In part because of the 'dark sky' policy on the Big |sland (to help the observatory up on Mauna Kea - a good thing), the lighting in the parking and common areas is very muted. This makes it a little challenging to identify which building is which (can't see the labels on the buildings at night). So, if it is your first visit, try to have a flashlight handy! Otherwise, a great place to stay.

Paradise on the Big Island of Hawaii

We had an incredible family vacation on the Big Island of Hawaii in February 2022. We stayed at a wonderful 2 bedroom condo (Vista A-301 in Waikoloa). The ocean and sunset view was amazing, it was spacious, an awesome kitchen, washer and drier, very high end. They also had all the beach chairs and umbrella, snorkels and boogie boards we needed for the beach. There was an incredible huge pool and 2 hot tubs close by. Any issues we had were dealt with quickly by the owners with a short text. I would highly recommend this beautiful vacation rental on the third floor, only about 15 minutes North of the Kona Airport. It's in an area close to 2 malls with everything you could ask for and lots of people jogging the beautiful trails every morning. We even saw a few whales from our Lanai. I also strongly recommend Hapuna Beach if you want a fun beach for the whole family, just a 10 minute drive North. This place was worth every penny for a first class vacation!

Clean modern Waikaloa Condo

Very nicely done 2br condo close to many services and conveniences. The beds are a little low to the ground for an old guy like me but are very comfortable. Had a great night's sleep each night. Kitchen is well equipped with lots of storage for food and cooking pots and utensils. We would stay here again.

The condo was in a great location! We had a wonderful choice of beaches close by, lava lava beach club was a nice sandy beach to hang out for the day. Plenty of place to shop and eat right at Queens marketplace and Kings shops. The condo itself is exactly as shown in pictures. The view is unbelievable! They have thought of everything, from beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, to laundry detergent, soap, trash bags, lunch baggies, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels! Beds were very comfortable and A/C worked great! Brendan has thought of it all! Oh yes and local fruits upon arrival for our enjoyment. We had a little issue figuring out how to open the door but Brendan was quick to respond with help. This is a top notch rental and you will not be disappointed with your stay.

A really great Condo for a family with kids!

We enjoyed our stay very much- a very clean and updated condo. Kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials and we thoroughly enjoyed the lovely fruit basket and coffee beans that served us well with the espresso machine that was an added bonus! Comfy beds and beautiful clean bathrooms. The Lanai had boogie boards and snorkeling equipment for us to enjoy! The complex is also clean and quiet, with great pool and hot tub area to soak in late in the afternoon. Very well appointed as well with a less than 3 minutes drive to the nearest beach and the amazing Hapuna beach a short 15 minute away. The communication with Brendan was also great who was very responsive when I had a few questions. Thank you Brendan for all the tips about places to visit and where to eat, we truly enjoyed them! I wish we could stay longer but we would definitely love to be back!

Perfect place to stay

The location is great. Not on the beach but closer to everything so you can walk, including to the beach. The beach equipment was very useful (chairs, coolers, masks, fins and boogie boards) and the espresso machine was great as well. Well stocked kitchen and the fruit tray upon arrival was delightful (first time having dragon fruit). Recently renovated and very tastefully done (bathroom floor is very slippery when wet) Would love to stay here again if we come back to the big island.
