”Excellent. Very convenient. Room was spacious and well-equipped. Staff was very nice. We actually couldn't make it for the first night because of a change in plans so we tried to contact the hotel but couldn't get through. When we arrived the next day, we did not get any funny looks or stares. We just got the same nice, courteous service we would expect. Plus, the location cannot be beat. Right on the beach. You can literally see the ocean from here! And feel that nice sea breeze wafting through...

”Nice location between the shops and Waitangi Treaty Grounds. I was able to walk into town for groceries in just a few minutes - it's a lovely walk too, just above the shore. The ferry to Russell and Oteihei Bay is right there as well. There's a park with a playground at the end of the street. Paihia Apartments have a washer and dryer in the garage, plus a small kitchen. The owners are friendly. We enjoyed our stay. ”
