”This is a great little escape. The pod was lovely and had a great view (waking up to the natural sunrise was lovely). The outdoor toilet and shower were also very clean. Kitchen is basic but had everything we needed. Loved eating our dinner outside under the Milky Way. Would recommend and perfect little escape from the city. ”

”We had a great stay at Bek’s Retreat at Mangawhai Heads. The beds were comfortable and the shower was really good. There was everything one needed and it was very peaceful. The host, Annette, was quick to come and help with the TV and she was friendly and easy to get on with. Hope to return in the not too distant future.”

”Easy to find. We didn’t get any check in instructions, and the link that was sent went to a message that said no reception or check-in. Had to contact virtual assistant. Called proprietor who sent a lovely lady to get us. No English, but that’s OK, we don’t have any Mandarin either 😬 She sent my partner down the wrong way on a one-way road which was odd and a little dangerous. New World and Woolies next door. Awesome.
