”The house was looking tired, whilst clean it could do with refresh. The heated towel rail fell off the wall; it was a quick fix. There was also no spare rolls of toilet paper. When I rang the help line, it was not answered. I left a message but needless to say they did not bring any spare rolls.”

”I booked 3 nights, but ended up staying a week. Place is nice, clean, cosy, staff superfriendly, surroundings very beautiful and peaceful. Kitchen is well equipped and there is lots of space. Dorm room was warm enough for me, I find most of the NZ hostels too cold on winter time. Moana Lodge is truly a home away from home and good place to stay if you need a break from busy Wellington. Only thing I wish to change is that they should have unlimited wi-fi., altough I did get as much those 1GB...

”The shower had hair on the walls , the floor looks like it had not been cleaned for some, and I couldn't wash the dishes because had no dishwashe. And when paying for the room, the person take my card into a other room. When paying, it most be done in front of the person,not in a other room.”
