”The room was clean and the service was great. The lady on the front desk was very helpful and friendly. We especially enjoyed the parakeets. ”

”Clean room, helpful staff. No issue with stay. However room design is strange as the lavatory/sink is right by the door making it awkward to answer the door or leave if someone was using the sink/mirror. That is a design flaw and not the fault of the staff. ”

”Front desk staff is always nice. Room is always clean when I stay here. Housekeeping is super polite and I enjoy that on my longer stays that they do not come knocking on the door everyday to clean the room it’s more like every other day that they come by. ”

”Had a nice stay at Candlewood. A couple of small snafus, but they worked out. It was clean, convenient and not to far out from my family. Kitchen was nice. Shopping and restaurants close by. The housekeeping staff was excellent! Overall it was a nice stay!”

”Rooms are gorgeous and clean! Only issue is that food delivery has to be left at desk.. but I understand that is a safety measure. Wonderful experience overall!”

”We stayed here for NYE/New Year's Day, and the front desk team was incredible. They were personable, energetic, responsive, and kind. The Suite is a great choice for a stay--it's spacious and perfectly situated in the hotel. What a great place to close out 2025 and ring in 2026!”

”I had an amazing stay this past week at the Hampton Inn. From the moment you walk in, it’s smells so clean and fresh; you can tell they take care of the property. The staff were very polite and helpful with anything I needed and the check in process was quick and easygoing. Once I made it to my room, everything was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Perfect place to stay if you were wondering!”

”This hotel is our favorite pet-friendly hotel in downtown Durham. During this last visit, I had inadvertently double booked myself a room directly with the hotel and on Expedia. The check-in host was so kind to cancel the room booked directly with the hotel without penalties. I certainly was not expecting that and figured I'd be paying for two rooms due to my oversight. Thank you 21c hotel. That made my day, and I will certainly return. ”

”BEWARE! This cottage is in a very sketchy neighborhood. We arrived at dusk to see multiple groups of men standing nearby, watching us enter the property. The neighboring properties are disorganized and lacking attention that one would expect when renting an air B and B. There are adjoining houses with living room sofas on the porch, bags of garbage against the house, a mattress on the front lawn, foliage grown over the house, and yards with many vehicles parked (abandoned) on them.
