”Our stay was excellent! It was indeed cozy and felt like home. Everything was exactly as pictured and described. Plenty of room for our family of five. The beds were very comfortable. The decor was nice, with nice seasonal touches. It had everything we needed. Kim was very responsive to messages as well. We would definitely stay again.”

”Spacious and private, clean and comfortable. The lake is beautiful for swimming, boating, and fishing. Easy access to lots of hiking trails and other nearby attractions, great home base for anything you want to do in the western UP. Great communication from the owner with check in/ out instructions and comprehensive guide to the area that was sent ahead of time. We were there just as a family of 4 but there was plenty of space for larger groups ”

”I'll experience at this property was amazing. Home was extremely clean and very soon nicely decorated. There were a lot of extras such as games and kitchen staples. The beds were very comfortable. The fenced in backyard and allowance of pets was a top priority of ours and very hard to find in other rental properties. We would definitely return.”

”Overall impressions in these categories: House: Beautiful. Big enough for our group of 13, kids and adults. Kitchen is more than great. Screened porch is better than good. Dining area large enough we could all eat in the same area. Rec room including table tennis was used a lot.Water: Fishing was slow but that's no one's fault. Kayaks were used a lot everyday. The shallow sandy bottom was amazing for our kids to play and swim in. The dock held our two boats easily. Stairs to water are not...

”This is a spacious well equipped clean and comfortable home for a family vacation. We travelled with kids and grandkids and we particularly liked the large king bedroom suite on the lower level - very peaceful spot for grandparents! The open area behind the house was great for the kids to play in. Its not on the water but the walk down throught the woods to the waters edge is pleasant.The small beach was great for swimming - sandy and a nice depth - and the designated pier for our boat worked...

”Nice place with plenty of room. The kitchen was clean and even had an air fryer and blender. The queen bed was a bit soft for my taste but that is a preference not a requirement. The local bakery, Bread of Life, had wonderful pastries and pasties. Joe checked in with us a couple times just to be sure everything was great. And it was. We were near plenty of great places to hike and enjoy the area. If we come back to this part of the UP, we will be checking here again. ”
