”Hotelli sijaitsee turistialueen reunalla, mikä oli loistavaa, jos halusi käydä autenttisemmalla alueeella syömässä tai paikallisessa supermarketissa. Surffaajille matkaa surffirannalle tulee noin 2 km, mutta sukeltajien onneksi Hikkaduwan paras sukelluskeskus on seinänaapurina. Kolmen tähden hotelliksi yleisilme on hieno ja aamiaisessa on kattavasti sekä eurooppalaisia että paikallisia vaihtoehtoja. Aurinkopetejä on runsaasti, mutta vain puoleen riittää patjat. Huone ei alkuun vastannut...

”Heel schoon en comfortabel verblijf. Hele goede wifi, en Airconditioning 2 schone zwembaden mooi aangelegde tuin. Op korte loopafstand van de hoofdweg met veel restaurants. Ontbijt beschikbaar en op zich goed.. maar traag gereserveerd en verkeerde volgorde. Eerst Fruit dan na 10 minuten het Ei, dan na 10 minuten de toast en de koffie en fruitsap pas na 40 minuten... Maar zou er zo weer terug keren... prima.”

”First room we stayed at was on the ground floor next to the restaurant. The room was noisy and not in good condition. After staying up the first night because of the noise, we got to stay another room that was a bit better and quieter with a nice view, but ac was leaking water to our floor quite a bit. Airport pick-up was late and we got blamed for 'not being at the right place', even though there was only one place where we could be: the arrivals hall. Overall ok service.”

”Cleanliness of the room was poor - room was dusty, there were cobwebs, it had lots of stains on the walls, a strong smell, sanitaryware wasn't clean, towels appeared dirty with lots of stains etc - especially in these times you would expect a high focus on cleanliness. We were also not informed about daily cleaning practicalities, so missed out on it the first day. Wifi worked only in the lobby, and payment was not possible with credit card even though was supposed to be. All this to say, it...
