”Kandy City Hotel is very centrally located in the town of Kandy, only a short walk from the main sights. The hotel was clean and at least our rooms were modern and there was nothing to complaint in them. I am not sure but maybe we were on a newer side of the hotel (room numbers 3XX). The breakfast was pretty basic, but still had some options. Good hotel, no reason why we would not choose it again.”

”Great surroundings. Lots of history. Unfriendly staff. The safely box didn't work ( somebody had taken the batteries). Nothing was done although I staff different staff members at least five times.”

”Sidath was our waiter and made our stay so special - he was wonderful. X Jeethm- looked after our every need by the pool . He was very attentive and pool was sparkling clean . Highly recommend this place to stay in Kandy- all staff were amazing . Thank you for looking after us so well . ”

”We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The views overlooking Kandy were stunning and made every moment feel special. The breakfast was fresh, generous, and a great start to each day. Its close location to the train station was incredibly convenient. A great place to stay with excellent value and comfort.”

”Fantastic service from the staff. Great room with million dollar views. Most comfortable bed I have slept in Sri Lanka. Beautiful rooftop with great infinity pool overlooking Kandy lake. Very walkable location - to the city in minutes! The only negative is that the hotel could not handle the volume of guests at breakfast. Many dishes were empty and kept empty for ages. The hoppers we ordered took 2 hours to come! This was the day after the Randoli Perahera so is assume they were not equipped...
