This charming yellow cottage is situated on Walloon Lake, offering a friendly feeling with neighbors and picturesque setting. Our favorite features? Enjoying treats and drinks on the front porch, taking a dip in the lake, and walking the “locals” path in front of the house into the village!

Upon entering this cottage, you are welcomed by plenty of daylight and an open floor plan offering a great view of the lake. The main level allows for your entire group to be a part of cooking, puzzles, and TV or couch conversations all at once. The TV area is situated off to the side to not be the focal point of your vacation – something we could all use more of. The main level offers the first bedroom and full bath as well as laundry. Taking the oak tread staircase opens up into a spacious loft area – great for kids to play games and hang out while still being involved with the main level through the open cathedral wall. The upper level offers two more bedrooms as well as a second full bathroom. While the cottage does not have air conditioning, you’ll find box fans throughout the home and screened windows that invite in refreshing lake breezes, helping keep the space cool and airy during the warmer months. There are two cottages on this property, owned by one welcoming, generational family.

Although it is "private" frontage, the shared dock is used by the owners when they are up at times but they stay to themselves and to their designated side of the dock to respect the space of guests. There is a dock space available for a boat specifically for renters, which can be launched at the boat launch 1 minute from the cottage. The famous Walloon Lake Inn or Barrel Back restaurants are a 3-8-minute walk as well as all that the Village of Walloon has to offer!

*The lower cottage & deck are off limits to guests. One (1) boat allowed on the dock. No swinging on the tree swing (belongs to the neighbors!) No fishing allowed off the dock.
