Tule käymään Walnut Springs ja nauttia rauhasta ja hiljaisuudesta!
Täysin remontoitu, kaksikerroksinen perääntyä, hämmästyttävän suuri yläkerran ja upouusi ympäröivä kuisti ja takaisin kannelle. Täydellinen katsella auringonlaskua ja nähdä villieläimiä kävellä selkään meidän 10 eekkeriä. Nauti 8 jalka palo kuoppaan kun pelaat hevosenkengän turnauksen meidän Hevosenkenkä kuoppia! Keskusta Glen Rose on vain 15 minuutin päässä, joten se on tarpeeksi lähellä päästä miksauksessa, mutta tarpeeksi kaukana nauttia rauhallisesta maalaiselämää. On olemassa muutamia pieniä ruokakaupat, viinakauppa, huoltoasema jne vain kilometrin tietä niin voit saada elämän mukavuudet!
Nautimme vanhaa kamaa, museoautot ja moottoripyörät, ja toivomme voit poimia vuosikerta koskettaa koko talon !! Makuuhuoneet ovat räätälöidyt, ja niihin kuuluvat Texas huone, Pinup huone, ja Mustang huoneeseen. Keittiön pöydällä on vanha moottoripyörä päällä lasi pöytälevy ja keittiösaarekkeen rakennettiin rehellisistä navetta tina pois vanha navetta Chisholm Trail Fort Worth! Toivottavasti nautit pienet yksityiskohdat niin paljon kuin me nautimme sen suunnitteluun!
Texas huone ja kansikuvatyttö huoneen on queen vuode n (täysi vyöryä alla Pinup huoneen queen) ja Mustang huoneessa on parivuode. On myös taittaa sohvalla olohuoneessa ja Twin foldout patja, jota voidaan käyttää ylimääräisiä vieraita tarvittaessa.

Comfortable place in the country

There were 3 of us in our party: myself, my mom, and teenage son. We were in the area for a family reunion. While we were not at the place for very long, it was enjoyable while we were there. The host has a funky but classy decor going throughout the home. I enjoyed looking at everything. It is obvious that she has recently remodeled the house since it has all the modern conveniences. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I felt safe where the home was located and it was easy to find. There are only 2 bedrooms with Queen beds which were great for my mom and myself. My son slept on the couch in the living room. That was not the best situation based on the type of furniture that is in there. He would have been more comfortable if I had brought an air mattress for him. The way the house is laid out, the bedrooms are downstairs and the kitchen/living room is upstairs. There is a full bath downstairs that is located between both rooms (which I loved!). There is, also, another full bath upstairs. Both bathrooms are walk-in showers only which worked fine for us. Overall, great stay and I would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

22nd Anniversary

We stayed at Tailgate Ranch while we explored the area around Glen Rose. The accommodations were fabulous and I would totally stay here again. It is in the perfect location. The sunsets on the back porch were breathtakingly beautiful.

Spring Break with the Grandkids

We had a great time this week. The grandkids had plenty of room to run around and they enjoyed the wide open space. The house was charming. You can tell that the owner really wants people to feel welcome. Plus fresh eggs! What more can you ask for. I completely recommend this property.

Relaxing Getaway

My girls, ages 6 and 7 had such a wonderful getaway. House was so cute, with so many eclectic touches. We loved the huge property, bonfires, and nothing but the sound of crickets each night. Super close to Glen Rose, so we spent our days exploring parks, museums and the surrounding areas, and our evenings relaxing and watching the beautiful sunsets. Property owners were lovely, and incredibly kind to my children, allowing them to play with their dogs and to see their chicken coup. We loved everything about this vacation and hope to be back again next year!

Country Getaway

Tailgate Ranch has an ideal location for traveling the northwest Texas area around Walnut Springs. We traveled to Glen Rose (less than 15 miles), over to Stephenville, up to Mineral Wells, and back to Walnut Springs. We found several state parks in which to hike and explore as well as parks within Glen Rose and Miineral Wells where we could enjoy a walk with the dogs. The house and area of Tailgate Ranch itself was perfect for us to be able to enjoy the country but have all the comfort of a lovely and well decorated home with what I would call a "biker/country/patriot" kind of vibe. We got to catch one sunset but had to deal with lots of rain (May is Texas rainiest month). However, that is what contributed to the beauty of the wildflowers everywhere (Indian Blanket galore!) and the green of trees and fields! It was gorgeous. We could not have asked for a more well stocked kitchen for cooking, large fridge, dishwasher etc. It is all there. Having the living room upstairs was a bit different for us. The view was very worth the climb. Loved the motorcycle dining table! There is a wonderful outdoor balcony, but the rain kept us inside mostly. The living area with large screen TV kept us entertained when we were not out exploring. A nice cozy couch to cuddle up on is there as well. We really enjoyed the cool breezes out on the wrap around porch and it gave a nice spot to sit even with the rain. Julia was excellent in her communication and a gracious host.

Great for the weekend

The property was great to stay at for a weekend trip. Sadly it was raining so we didnt get to use the hammock, the fire pit, or the horseshoe game outside. But with the number of board games Julia has it is easy to keep busy inside too. The house is super cute with lots of vintage touches. She has directions and labels and has thought of all the questions you could ask. Very thoughtful. The only issue we had was orginally the posting stated there was a hot tub which there is not. It was a big reason we booked but turned out we had a great time without it. The fresh eggs were a cute touch, thanks!

Peaceful stay w loads of activities

The ranch supplied a ton of activities to keep us occupied such as board games and music players. The massive property gave us a ton of space to let our dog run around. The top deck was very nice to enjoy the sunset with dinner. Julia was very prompt with replies and communication with us. I would certainly stay again!

One of the best!

Instead of listing what’s included, the listing should just say “bring cloths and food…we have the rest covered”!. Really does have more than you can think to bring. Julia is a great host and made us feel like we were staying at a friends house. Will 1000% be booking this place again. House is fun, creative and super clean! If you are reading this, I promise, you need to book it, you won’t be disappointed!

Loved the constant breeze on the porch!

This ranch house is awesome! We loved the decor! Lots of amenities. It was a perfect getaway! We hope to come back and stay here again. The breeze is constant on the porch. We didn't want to go inside it felt so lovely!

Really enjoyed this property

My husband and I needed a place to stay while visiting our family in Stephenville. It was perfect for us. The kitchen and living room were inviting and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfy too. I’d stay here again for sure! The host was very nice and communicated with us to make sure we had everything we needed.

The perfect mini family vacation!

We wanted to take a little family trip from Fort Worth for a couple days to explore a new area and have a comfortable place for our littlest to nap. We got to bring our dog, who loved the big property! Our son said he is definitely coming back! It was nice to be so close to town but also away from everything. The space was small but well thought out. I loved the eclectic, industrial vibe! We only saw the owner once and she was super friendly! The house was very well stocked.

Country Getaway

Perfect for 1 or 2 nights. We chose the location due to its proximity to the Dino Valley state park and local attractions. It is a clean and charming property good for families with children and pets. My only wish was that the large firepit didn't have debris wood piled in it. We did have a small chiminea but a medium sized firepit that could take firewood would have been perfect and a little mowing around the horse shoe pits to make it usable. Other than that the home was fully stocked and great to stay in. The hosts stayed nearby on property but were lovely and respected our privacy.

Great Spot in the Glen Rose Area!

I took my son to Tailgate River Ranch for his 5th Birthday because it was close in proximity to Dino Valley State Park and Fossil Rim. This property is great! The house is fun and eclectic, the communication from the owner was very clear and timely, all the amenities we'd need were included in the home and it had a great fire pit out back! My son (and I) had a great time staying there! I'd highly recommend!
