”A very nice property located at the top of Mayday Hills that has lovely gardens for a morning walk around the estate. Room somewhat compact however for a solo, overnight stay it was great. The decor is charming and created a lovely ambience. There was no cooked breakfast available on the Monday, however the continental breakfast was enough. A beautiful morning to enjoy the sun on the deck and loads of friendly magpies singing for their breakfast! ”

”The cabin was clean and comfortable but poorly insulated as the heater struggled to keep it warm. There were plenty of blankets, so we didn’t feel the cold at night. The TV remote control didn’t work. The site is well situated next to the river and provides good cooking facilities with a fully equipped camp kitchen and an outdoor barbecue. The whole area was teaming with bird life. ”

”A very comfortable twin share room with two beds including one queen sized bed. Couldn’t fault the room, the greeting at reception, however during the depths of Winter, arriving at 6.30pm, having the front window shut and perhaps some low setting of heating would have been more inviting on arrival. Even after more than an hour with the heater then put on, the room had only partially warmed up. Even then sleeping at night time was best with the electric blanket on a low setting.
