”Excellent place to stay.Good location for exploring the area. Local walks Hadrians wall etc.We stayed in the Hadrian suite.Very spacious with nice roll top bath.We ate in the bar on burger night. Again Excellent.Staff were friendly especially the breakfast lady.Full of smiles in the morning. Would definitely stay again ”

”I booked a superior room which was very comfortable and clean. We overlooked the river and had a double aspect room (317).
Staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to see that we were happy.”

”The staff were the star of the show, on every interaction we had with them the were friendly and couldn't be more helpful. If you are doing Hadrians Wall Walk, this is the place to stay in Wylam / Heddon on the Wall. ”

”We had a lovely stay in a comfortable room. We had a nice dinner in the bar which was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and served with a smile.
And the beer’s not bad either!”
