The pictures don't do this home or property justice. The home is so cosy and welcoming. The property is so large and beautiful. There’s something for everyone: a fire pit for ganging out and smores, swimming pool, fishing, sitting on the front porch to read, a game/billards room, and a large field to play in. There are plenty of supplies and dishes so you dont have to worry about any of that. It was so nice an relaxing!

Great stay for our wedding party!

Extremely happy with our stay here! Plenty of room to fit our groomsmen and bridesmaids and their plus ones. The game room is amazing! We had a great time and would highly recommend to anyone else looking for a large place in a good location.

Awesome Stay with a lot of beds

We were looking for a location that we could host our college retreat. The Hidden Hollow Farm House was great. A lot of single beds so each had their own bed. Also location was quiet and peaceful yet close to anything that you would need. Thank you for hosting us!

Refreshing and Spacious

Our trip with our young adult college students went so well in large part due to the amazing space, well-stocked, and hospitable accommodations. We had room for large group gatherings and sharing meals together and quiet space for each student. The grounds and scenery are gorgeous. Well-maintained home and kind host. Wally even helped me unload as well as give me a tour of the home so I knew where everything was at. We definitely recommend this stay!

Absolutely Perfect!!

This home was perfect for what we needed for the weekend! Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay that fit all of our needs. Appliances, rooms, and all the amenities were kept in very good condition and felt safe and clean! Property is even more beautiful in real life and the home is beautiful!!

A perfect getaway not far from DC

Beautiful farmhouse

We had about 21 extended family members staying in the large farmhouse. The property was gorgeous! There was plenty of room and beds to accommodate. The game room was huge and well-stocked with games/books/tv/pool table/ping pong table and foosball. The week we were there was very hot, but the air conditioning worked well. The outdoor pool was refreshing and came stocked with toys/floaties. Wally stopped by and gave us a tour of the property including the pond for fishing. Wally and Patricia were wonderful hosts and were very responsive to any concerns/questions we had. We would love to stay at their farmhouse in the future!

Family reunion

Our extended family of 18, ranging in age from 73 to 8 months, spent a long weekend. We enjoyed the pool, the hiking trail, and the ample space to chat and catch up. Wonderful place for family fun.

Perfect for our family

Wally and Pat were very accommodating for our big group. There was plenty of amenities to keep everyone engaged. We loved the pool, the large grassy field for games, the fire pit, and the game room. It is helpful to know that the 6 bedrooms are all upstairs. The futon room is on the main level. Also, there is an extra fridge in the garage and a large laundry room with lots of shelving that we used as a pantry. For being an older home, there was still plenty of space for dining and gathering. They also had lots of stacking chairs and fold up picnic tables. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at Hidden Hollow Farm very much!

Perfect Place for Our Family Reunion

22 of us ranging from six to seventy-five had a great time at the property. The kids of all ages loved the pool and game room. Everyone had their own bed. Plenty of room in the kitchen and dining room for us to eat together. You feel like you are far out in the country with trees and meadows, but in fact can get to a grocery store in minutes. The owner lives nearby -- he welcomed us and then was instantly available when we had one very minor concern. Check in and check out could not have been easier. We all agreed it was just the right place for us to gather from across the country.

Peaceful retreat

This farmhouse is huge and very well appointed. The photos on the listing are accurate. Plenty of beds. Common spaces are comfy, and the outdoor gazebo and pool area are very nice. Kitchen has all you need. The property is very quiet and private. Wifi is slow, but hopefully you don't have to do any work while you are enjoying the beautiful home!

Family Stay/Wedding Week

This place was perfect for our family needs. We were all there a week before a Wedding and we had plenty of bed space and room to enjoy our stay and not be overcrowded. Our host was very helpful with any questions or concerns we may have had. Although it sits back off the road a bit, which we all enjoyed, it is very close to anything you are needing such as groceries, shopping, restaurants etc...We had a great week!

A family reunion

We--18 people--found the property perfect for our reunion--ample space to sleep, prep meals, eat and gather with a killer game room with multiple activities (pool and ping pong were favorites but foosball and board games also got attention). The details for comfort were amazing as was the country setting.
