”The most immaculately clean dog friendly hotel room I have ever visited. Absolute bonus having the complimentary spa use, the pool was lovely and warm and the jacuzzi was a dream. The food from the bar was delicious with many gluten free options. Tasha served us our food and she was a star so helpful and friendly. The only suggestion I could give to improve is modernising the hallways a little and improving the appearance of the room windows from the outside as they looked a little underwhelming...

”Victoria Lodge is a fantastic place to stay...the location in the middle of Stockton Heath couldn't be more convenient for numerous pubs, restaurants, a variety of shops, Alexander Park and Walton Gardens. There are all kinds of opportunities for walks nearby (public footpaths through the Cheshire countryside, the tow path of the Bridgewater Canal and the Trans Pennine Way). Paul, the hotel owner, is incredibly accommodating and helpful, and he cooks the most amazing full English breakfast which...

”I've stayed at the property several times whilst attending a work training event. On a number of occasions I have been allocated a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the rest of my colleagues. When I queried this at check in, I was advised there were no other rooms available.
What I also find disappointing is that one of my colleagues consistently appears to receive room upgrades, yet whenever I have politely asked, I am told that nothing is available.
