”Ash Farm is a quaint bed and breakfast off the beaten track but close to all the amenities of Altrincham. Next door is a great pub; The Swan with 2 nicks. Within walking distance is Dunham Massey park. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and quiet. A great retreat compared to the hustle and bustle of city hotels. The breakfast is a 5 star experience and has something for everyone. Obviously the Full English wins every day. The staff are wonderful and friendly making the whole experience first...

”Quite dated in decor and furnishings, but all in keeping with the look and feel of an older country residence. Every interaction was a helpful, friendly one. Would return if I have reason to stay in the area again”

”Mattress was awful, my room at the back stunk of weed. Mattress was thin and you could feel the springs. In essence, you get what you pay for but avoid and pay a few £ more for a Travelodge. Couldn’t recommend it less, avoid.”

”Absolutely lovely accommodation, great location and extremely helpful staff. Highly recommend and will definitely use again.”

”I spent one night at the Throstles Nest Hotel. The room was a bit small, but it contained everything I needed (a bed and a water source). Of course, it would have made the stay more pleasant if the toilet and the shower had not been placed in the corridor, but all in all, this hotel was a good experience. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was in a walking distance from Anfield and Goodison park that were the main attractions for me.”
