”I spent one night at the Throstles Nest Hotel. The room was a bit small, but it contained everything I needed (a bed and a water source). Of course, it would have made the stay more pleasant if the toilet and the shower had not been placed in the corridor, but all in all, this hotel was a good experience. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was in a walking distance from Anfield and Goodison park that were the main attractions for me.”

”Booked for my daughters who were watching a concert at Anfield. Such a great service, calls prior to the day and on the day saying they could complete an earlier check in if needed. Greeted my daughters and explained everything clearly, they said Mel was simply lovely! A great clean room with a short walk to Anfield Stadium.”

”Accommodation at The Bowling Green is excellent. There are several rooms in a self contained annex right next to the pub. The rooms are of a very high standard and guests have access to a continental breakfast and a mini fridge in the room. We have stayed here many times and have always been impressed. Staff are lovely and always happy to help. Highly recommended. ”

"The staff was friendly during our stay. But there was some check-in fee despite an online check-in and using a self-service machine? (3 pounds; so even if we didn't go to a desk, we were still charged on top of the actual booking cost that we paid to stay at the hotel) There were stains on walls, curtains and the table, but the carpet/floor and sheets/beds were clean. Bathroom was also clean. However, there were no toiletries (this was a surprise for a hotel) "
