”Love the service, location and the competitive pricing. There are cheaper ones out there for sure but the service here is excellent. Though you may not need the mosquito net provided, I used it and felt comfortable. There’s no AC but I didn’t need it as the temp was cool at night. I would book it again for sure.”

”Amazing - no other words needed! A two night stay in one of the tree houses - had the camp to ourselves , which was perfect. Staff were fabulous and went out of their way to ensure our meals were varied both in location and food . Excellent on both counts . Wild elephant encounter on our way in, had to reroute on the way out due to ele on the road (? Same guy?) . But a great detour . Just chilled in the fish spa and ate lots. ”

”Great hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. The pools looked fantastic and well cleaned. We had an excellent meal, and then played pool on the table next to the bar! The hotel is trying hard to be eco, and we had a very interesting bathroom surrounded by plants in the shower, and an open air roof - covered by mesh to stop anything nasty getting in! We watched a fantastic sunset whilst drinking cocktails. Very memorable. Staff were lovely.”

”Much nicer than photos show! The pool surrounds and bar area were lovely, perfectly framing Sigiriya Rock. The dining area and breakfast was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The shower was a little awkward to negotiate but overall fine. Staff were very friendly. ”

”We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were consistently helpful and friendly, making us feel very well looked after. The swimming pool was a great —perfect for a refreshing dip after climbing Sigiriya Rock. The hotel is in a slightly isolated location, but this wasn’t an issue for us and actually added to the peaceful atmosphere.”

”When I arrived I was told the hotel was closed. I took pictures to prove I was there as I had already paid through Expedia. I then had a ‘neighbour’ show up to ‘offer’ alternate accommodation at a very much more cost! The hotel is on a back street and when confronted with having to find an option on the day when I was hoping to visit the palace I conceded to the higher price. This was classic ‘bait & switch! Do not ever book this hotel!!!!”

”Wow. Luxurious property with the friendliest staff. The food was everything was picked from their farm. So fresh, generous portions, and organic! Our stay was simply amazing. We stayed in both the Floating Villa, and then the Bankee Chalet. Highly reccomend. Everyone in that visits Sri Lanka should come here.”
