I booked a one-bedroom suite for my stay. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room and only realized after unpacking that it was not a one-bedroom suite but a standard room. I went to the front desk because the phone in the room wasn’t working, and I mentioned the issue with the room type. I was told that because it was late at night and the hotel was at capacity, they were unable to move me to the room I had booked.
The next day I returned to the front desk and was told they would credit my amenity fees. However, this didn’t feel like an appropriate resolution since I had paid for a one-bedroom suite and did not receive it. Eventually, a manager contacted me and offered to refund half of the night I spent in the incorrect room and move me to a different room (Room 218).
Unfortunately, the cover on the fob reader for that door was broken when I arrived, although it was still functioning at the time. The following day, about an hour before my meetings started, I was locked out of my room because the fob reader stopped working. Beyond that, the TV in the bedroom wasn't working, the phones in the rooms don't work, and they don't have smartTVS.
I do want to note that the staff was friendly and helpful throughout these issues. However, the rooms appear to be in serious need of updates, and the price of the hotel does not reflect the overall quality or condition of the rooms.
