This is not a hotel. It's a self-service, motel-style building. There is no on-site staff, and a contact number for someone at their Chicago location is posted on the front door. To enter the building, you need to remember a passcode. To access your room, you'll need another passcode.
My sink had only a trickle of water, and I used the shower to wash my face or brush my teeth. My room looked like a dungeon and was below ground level, with a view of the stairs. It was freezing cold, with no central heat or air—just an old AC unit. The carpet was filthy, and the room had peeling paint. My room was next to a trash storage area. The hallway and walls were peeling, with holes and stains everywhere. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. On my first night, at 3 AM, the building alarm went off for 45 minutes. A few other unfortunate guests were in the hallway trying to disarm it since there is NO STAFF on premises. We called the number for the staff person working in Chicago, and he finally gave us the code so I could disarm the alarm. AVOID.
