  • This Victorian Oasis is a fully renovated-historic row house located in the heart of DC.
    It has lots of natural light, is fully furnished and decorated in a ecletic-worldly way.

    This home is perfect for business guests and tourists wanting to have fun in DC. It is the perfect home away from home. This is how close all things are and walking distance to lounges to chill and relax with friends, pharmacy (Walgreens just around the corner), health-food grocery stores (Trader Joe’s on same street), gyms, boutiques, numerous hip and cool restaurants, clubs, and bars. There are more than 100 restaurants in the neighborhood — you name the type of food, you have it!

HAD A TERRIFIC TIME. SO EASY TO WALK TO U STREET STATION. HOUSE WAS FUN AND FUNKY. SECOND BEDROOM BED WASN'T A REAL QUEEN, THOUGH.

Nice place close to everything.

Very nice town home with comfy beds, nice kitchen and outside. It’s close to great food and entertainment, Metro and shopping. Quiet neighborhood but close to nightlife. Hostess was quick to respond to any questions. Nice eclectic furnishings. The only thing I would have liked to have had was a little more comfortable seating in the living room. I would recommend this place and stay here again.

First off, the communication with the host was excellent and with quick responses all the way through booking and the stay. The house is comfortable , and the kitchen is well equipped and great to have. For our stay the two bedrooms/bathrooms was what initially attracted us. The location is perfect for walking to many bars and restaurants of all prices and tastes. Trader Joe’s being down the block and the Yellow/Green lines less than a block helped seal the deal too.The only feature prospective renters need to know are some stairs. For most people it might not be an issue, but the front entry can be a challenge for some, and the bedrooms are upstairs (a normal distance, nothing out of the ordinary). But if stairs are not a concern, this place is worth serious consideration.

This rental is about convenience and location. A half a block from U Street and a green line metro station -- that was the perfect combo for our needs: good restaurants and easy access to Smithsonian museums. We ate in the neighborhood all three nights (Barcelona, Doi Moi and Eatopia) and happy with all. Self check-in and check-out were easy, too. Each bedroom has a double bed that can sleep two. Two full baths (and a half bath on main floor) also a plus. Kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook in. We chose to rent a private parking space just around the corner. Very convenient and safe. FYI If you're arriving on a weekday before 5 p.m., it looks like it's pretty easy to get street parking right outside the front door. Rental owner offers that as an option, too.
