Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay on Washington Island. Our house has all the features of home, new beds, cozy bedding, updated bathrooms and more! Enjoy island life while you unwind on the back deck or around the fire pit enjoying the night sky! Located on Main road just steps to the water or the Albatros where you can enjoy an island burger or milkshake! Our house is perfect for a family, girls weekend, or anyone looking to enjoy island life!

Home features 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, fully stocked kitchen, dinning room,living room and a lovely front porch, back deck and yard for you to enjoy the outdoors!

The island is a great spot for bike riding, walking, driving or ATV going to the beach and exploring!

This was a great home for our family gathering in the fall. There were many places to gather outdoors. It was nice to have a crib in one of the bedrooms. My family especially liked the large bathroom up stairs. It was so quiet at night. My family enjoyed taking a quick walk up to the coffee shop on the morning every day. It's a lovely place we will definitely come here again.!

The upstairs shower not working so we were limited to one bathroom for 5 people. Main television not working. House is serviced by a well that had sulfur water constant terrible smell. We left property a day earlier than planed. Property should be called Olive's keep away.

Beautiful Home

Absolutely loved this house! The beds and pillows were comfortable & the house was stocked with games and books. My favorite thing was that it was kid friendly! There were kids cups, plates, books, a few toys and even a wagon or stroller you can use. Highly recommended this house!

Can’t beat the location

This house was everything we needed for our weeklong stay on the Island. A short walk to Red Cup coffee and Albatross ice cream and grill. Beds were comfortable and our group really appreciated having two bathrooms with showers — the upstairs bathroom was especially spacious and comfortable. No AC, but the ceiling fans made our warmest days manageable. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Great house for a family vacation

Stayed with a group of 6 (2 parents and 4 children aged 16-22) for 5 days. The house was a fantastic place for a group this size! The house in general was clean and had a lot to offer. The kitchen and dining room accommodated large breakfasts and dinners as well as family game nights perfectly. The fire pit kept us busy nightly with s'mores, music, and sharing stories. If you are lucky to have cloudless nights, the yard is huge and allows for stargazing with unobstructed views. We did the mainland for a day, Washington Island for a day, and Rock Island for a day, and the house was a nice easy place to come back to and relax in-between adventures. We like to try different places but this is definitely one I would come back to!

Great family vacation

We have rented on the island before, but this house was the most comfortable and family friendly. The kitchen and bathrooms were very nice, the beds extremely comfortable, the covered deck was perfect and the yard just huge! The family room and tv saved the day as we had a fair amount of rain. No air conditioning, so it was a little warm one evening but opened windows and ceiling fans in every bedroom certainly helped. Kate was easy to communicate with. And being within walking distance to ice cream won my husband and I the best grandparents award with our young grandchildren. We will be back!

Wonderful home on the Island

Kate made this stay so incredibly easy, the home was spacious and beautiful. It was centrally locate to "downtown " of the island. We really enjoyed the nights sky out by the fire pit. The house has everything we needed and anytime we need to ask a question Kate was very quick to respond with a solution. It was a perfect fit for the wedding weekend we had on Washington Island.

A pleasant stay

A family friendly home. Nicely furnished. Games and puzzles for the child. Well appointed kitchen. Easy location to walk to coffee shop and shops. Would stay again and recommend.

Great stay

Clean, comfortable, well stocked home. Roomy and host was helpful and welcoming. Only problem is the night-time gnats inside the house. With all the doors closed, there was still swarms of harmless, yet pesky bugs at ANY light source. You have to keep the windows open because there is no air conditioning. Yes, there are screens, but the bugs still find their way in. We were careful to keep the doors shut but they somehow got in. Not a few either. We are talking hundreds, by any light that was on. On our 3rd night they were so bad that we had to turn off all the lights and go to bed by 8:30pm. It was a bummer. They were not mosquitos but little light loving bugs.

Perfect House

This house was such a gift for our family to use. Spacious for all of us to enjoy separate areas. Love the porch in front and deck in back. Large lawn area for the kids to play. House itself was very lovely with the recent updates. Nice sized bedrooms with great beds. Appreciated the washer and dryer a lot as we hit some rainy weather during our week. Kate was an awesome host. Very responsive and easy to communicate with. Kitchen was so well equipped…better than at home. Kids loved the smart tv to enjoy movies and streaming. Will definitely return next year. Miss relaxing there already!
