”Excellent stay”

”The owners were amazing and super nice and lovely to chat with! They mentioned that they had purchased it a few years back and have been slowly renovating. The building itself you could tell was old, but they had deep-cleaned everything which was great! The parking lot looked new, as well as the floor in our room. The great reviews were what drew us, the nice parking lot and clean building as well as the super nice staff / owners were what re-assured us. We will definitely be staying here on our...

”I did not not like the room I stayed in. It was very old old blankets, old sheets, old furniture, old everything. The bathroom door was hard to close because the toilet seat was too big. It just felt dirty, but I can’t say that it was it just was so old and undated outdated. It just felt dirty and the air conditioning always blew in your face if you were on the bed by the door, I just did not like this place at all. It’s not my style and I wish I would not have scheduled it.”

”We had to get FOUR spiders out of our room. Not sure if it’s just the season here but we’ve never had that issue at any other hotel we’ve stayed at before.”

”We were going to arrive after the office closed for the evening. We called and the young lady at the desk was very helpful. She said she would leave our key under the mat in front of our door. Sure enough it was there when we finally arrived. Parking was excellent and the view from the room was fantastic.”

”It was a very rustic "cabin"/room. There were definitely some improvements that could be made, like use something better for deck flooring than just standard plywood for the plastic deck chairs to sit on. It was clean. It had a great view of the lake and the staff at checkin was very pleasant.”

”It’s a very unique old hotel dating back to 1896. The architecture has not been updated but keeps a funky charm. Reused old wood furniture, old tub with an attached shower. Pub on site. Sauna and garden to relax. A pool table and board games. Fire place in the lounge area. Victoria was awesome. Loved it and would stay there again but not like a modern hotel.”
