”I loved this little place…everything that was needed for 1-2 people. The host even put out little emergency supplies if you forgot your toothbrush, for example. It was walking distance to everything downtown but the restaurant directly across the street was so good I ate there twice. I would love to stay here again sometime. ”

”The host was very responsive. We even had 10 inches of snow one night and they had someone come and plow the driveway twice and then sent someone to shovel and salt/sand all the walks and the driveway by 8 am the next morning. The house had many amenities that made us feel at home, including spices and every utensil imaginable in the kitchen, many games and books for entertainment, and other thoughtful items in the bathrooms and rest of the house. Very well decorated with attention to detail....

”Our stay came after an 18" snowfall and near 0F cold in historic Collinsville, so we were concerned about our late arrival, parking, safe walkways and a warm home. What we found were shovelled and treated walkways, a freshly plowed parking space, lights and heat on and a lovely home on the banks of the frozen Farmington River. Coming from Texas, we couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome to Connecticut.Carol's 1860 home is nicely furnished and spotless. Crisp bed linens and oversized...
