The house was on a lovely lot in a quiet residential neighborhood. The owner was quickly available by phone to help get us inside when we arrived late with the wrong entry information. The house itself was fine but not the cleanest I’ve experienced. It was evident that someone lived there as there was food in the fridge and partially used toiletries in the bathroom. Overall, I would rent again.

I DO NOT recommend this property to anyone. Communication with the host was ok. 1. I had requested an earlier check in than 3pm, and Jonathan confirmed it was ok to arrive at the property at 1pm.2. We arrived to a property that was very overgrown, like driving through a tunnel of tree and bush overgrowth to enter the driveway. There was grass and weeds growing through the cracks in the driveway.3. There was a large white truck parked up close to the house as if someone was there.4. I went to the lockbox on the back porch as instructed to retrieve the key, While I was attempting to open the lockbox, Jonathan texted me as if he was watching me from the ring camera. He said the lockbox wasn't needed and gave me the door to the code on the door.5. We entered and there was a pair of large white beat up sneakers on the door mat and the house was very dark with every shade drawn closed.6. Upon looking in the fridge/freezer, there was a door full of used condiments, eggs, bottled water, frozen food.7. Walking around the corned, I noticed a large black square on the frame of the opening of the livingroom, appearing to be some sort of camera. It was dark in the living room with all shades drawn closed.8. A dirty, mildew stained toilet.9. The door to the left of the bathroom in the hallway was closed tight and seemed locked from the other side.10. It was pitch black in the bedroom, pile of linen in center of bed with no light switch to be found.Not safe.

Hyvää: Siisteys, sisäänkirjautuminen ja sijainti
The picture shown was of the back door. The front of the house showed the true picture of the home. There was no manual explaining the heat or air conditioning. It was centrally located to Colby college and downtown Waterville. I was also 1 hour or so from other popular destinations.
