”Not overly friendly staff. Lady was pleasant but rude all at the same time. The room was okay but the mattresses were old. The bathroom was rough all the way around”

”The person when we checked in did not seem to interested in being there. The rest of the staff was amazing and very helpful and nice. Very nice place to stay.”

”The property was well maintained and clean. The only issue I found was a small pack of tiny bugs by the sink. Not sure what they were but not enough to make me make a complaint.”

”The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”

”Only complaint I had with the room is the deadbolt did not work and the window had a crack in it other than that, it was comfortable and clean”

”Southern Cross Ranch was a wonderful facility. Our room was clean. Breakfast was very fresh and delicious and the views from the breakfast room was spectacular! All staff were very warm, friendly and helpful, especially the owner, Inga; Karen in the office; Kimberly in the restaurant as was all the other staff employees. Thank you so much for your hospitality! We will definitely return! ”

”Everything was incredibly clean. Room access couldn’t have been easier. Lots of attention to details in the room. Complimentary water. Frig with sodas. Very comfortable beds, bedding and cold air conditioning. Very well updated old school motor inn. Would definitely stay here again!!!”

”The rooms were very clean. The continental breakfast was very delicious. Had a lot of different variety. The lady that worked in fixing and filling the breakfast items that was very helpful always checking in to see if everything was OK.”

”Originally, upon arrival, the bed sheets had a stain. The staff were able to change it for me, though. The pool was not cleaned (stayed in late April). Rooms smelled nice, but like the bed sheets, the shower curtain was worn. Overall, clean and budget friendly. Good staff. Good TV, Good Refrigerator. Acceptable WiFi. I would stay here again if I needed a place to stay in Greensboro.”

”Simple. Active at night but not loud. This place would benefit from self check-in, self checkout. I think it may have been cheaper if I'd just have booked it without Expedia.”

”The breakfast was excellent. Everything was kept clean and fresh. The staff was very friendly. As usual in hotels the AC switched on and off making it noisy. The bedclothes did not allow for maintaining a comfortable sleeping temperature. There was a nightstand on only one side of the bed, which was inconvenient. Otherwise, the room was quiet.”

”Great hotel, fabulous front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff. Room systems (A/C, TV, etc) functioned as expected. Location is always convenient. ”

”Parking was secure, smelled like pee everywhere, trash in the lot, everything was slam packed. No parking control, came out to my car with 3 dings in it that were not there prior to our stay. The room was awful, crumbs in every corner. Sheets were stained, cockroaches / spiders in beds & bathroom. The whole room smelled like someone had just smoked 3 packs of cigarettes. Overall, a horrible experience. Would NOT RECOMMEND. ”
