Welcome to Pelican 78, a remodeled Pajaro Dunes condo! With 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, this charming haven offers a comfortable retreat for families, friends, or couples seeking a relaxing getaway. Imagine sipping your morning coffee on the private balcony, watching the surf and ocean life. Pelicans roosting along the river and you should also get a glimpse of dolphins, whales and sea otters.
Inside you will find a single story of tastefully decorated interior with tons of beachside charm. The living space is designed to capture the essence of seaside living, while the fully equipped kitchen invites you to whip up your favorite meals. Enjoy a restful night's sleep in the master king bed, then wake up to ocean views from your bedroom. The comfortable second bedroom features two full-sized beds, and for your convenience, we have an in-unit washer and dryer. Unwind with direct beach access just steps away, allowing you to stroll along the sandy shores, collect seashells, or simply bask in the sun and waves. If you're looking to explore, be sure to visit the neighboring towns of Watsonville, Moss Landing and Aptos, where you'll find great restaurants, hiking trails and ocean adventures. Also within easy reach are grocery stores, local coffee shops, 9 to 18 hole golf courses. ice cream shops, and a variety of local restaurants. 🚫 Barbecues are not permitted in Pelican condos 🚧 Advisory Notice

There are such lovely views of both the ocean and the river from the living room and master bedroom!! The unit is also lovely inside. Everything was very comfortable, spotless, and well-equipped. It was a great stay.

Really lovely, quiet, right in the beach. Area in a fog belt so cool even in summer.Totally renovated. Nice balcony.Kitchen stocked amazingly well. I forgot sugar for coffee and they had it!Only thing I might say is that it is not 100% accessible if mobility impaired. Has a few steps to get in, and bed and shower entry are high. Would stay again.

Lovely condo for a relaxing weekend away

My two teenage boys and I have been under quite a bit of stress, work for me, college for my oldest, and high school for my younger son. They asked for a beach weekend. While we have stayed at Pajaro Dunes before, this was the first time in this unit and at the South end of the community. The unit was clean and well appointed. We had a lovely weekend away.

Beach getaway

A must stay and will definitely return. Beautiful condo with views of both river and the ocean. Short walk to the quiet beach and enjoyed pickle and tennis courts. Condo wonderfully decorated and newly updated. 2 bedrooms comfortable to accommodate my family. Love the surrounding nature throughout the property.

Wonderful stay at Pajaro Dunes

My husband, 2 kids (13 and 11) and I had a wonderful stay at Pajaro Dunes last week. The exterior of the building and deck are a little weathered..but the inside unit and beautiful/peaceful views are great. The kitchen has nice appliances and all the necessary items you would be seeking. There are several coffee/tea making options (espresso machine, drip coffee, hot water warmer). The beds were comfortable and the master bathroom is very nice. The walk to the beach was very short and easy. We enjoyed several beautiful sunsets (including ones with dolphin sightings). My son enjoyed the basketball and tennis courts when we were not visiting nearby Monterey or Santa Cruz. The grounds are very nice for walking (on and off the beach). The check in process was so easy. I received all the necessary info via email. The office staff at the association was easily accessible for any questions. We appreciated that there wasn't an extensive list of things for us to do before check out. Two things the unit could use (or bring if you are driving) - beach chairs/blankets/towels. There were only two beach/pool towels in the unit and no options for beach chairs/blankets. We flew to Cali so bringing these items was not an option. We were told we could borrow chairs from the office, but when I contacted them - they were all loaned out. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in this unit. I highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for a comfortable, relaxing location on the CA coast!

Wonderful Home

We had the most wonderful stay at Pelican 78! The home was so warm and inviting. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The view is the best! The river to one side the ocean to the other. The wildlife below was an added bonus. Wonderful stay and we will be back!
